  1. I would imagine food prices in NYC were always high though. But I hear ya, $13 for a veggie sandwich today in the mall
  2. He's made it further as a professional athlete than probably 99.9% of the board members here and he has a got wife. Let the man be...
  3. Years back when I lived closer to a Wegmans I'd buy them. They were only like $6 0r $7 each then though. Yeah their sandwiches in general are pretty good under prepared food but I'm not paying $12 for a sandwich from them.
  4. Well I'm not sure. But another reason at my age I like summer more.... no kids in school hence less traffic in the mornings for 3 months.
  5. This band as well. So 90's...
  6. I hear you. But I'm so out of touch with Gen Z and what not I wonder if they feel the same way?
  7. This thread has the potential to be the longest ongoing one the site…. With how drivers are these days
  8. Summer- but for different reasons at my age. I don't like hot weather but I do like more sunlight. Now there's times after work get a drink talk a walk down by the waterfront after long days.... Fall I guess is next. Pretty colors of trees and football. And somewhat cooler weather. somewhat
  9. Well here's a story for you if didn't know of this. These rappers in the video below sampled Steely Dan's Black Cow. And yes ironically they are rapping about the Bronx while in the old Shea Stadium. lol I'll assume this is not your genre of music but don't worry Stella Dan got the last laugh. Nobody from their record label asked Steely Dan for permission to use their sample. So Steely Dan sued the pants of these guys...... any royalty collected of this music went to Steely Dan
  10. I don’t remember Dickerson but this is one of the most hilarious things I’ve seen posted on this site. Damn that was such a well controlled rant!
  11. Ironically I have been listening to Lady Gaga's catalogue of late I didn't hear before. Chromatica I listened to last night. Yeah like Joanne I didn't like it as much as her first few albums but I still enjoyed it. One of my fave tracks on it I think she had a Jazz album as though with Tony Bennett? Not sure I'll listen. Yeah in Madonna's catalogue the Vogue song was off I'm Breathless which didn't fit the rest of her catalogue but yeah I'm pretty sure was her biggest ever song. Guess I do love Italian girls. lol
  12. Wayne Chrebet Undrafted out of Hofstra, listed favorably I think at 5'10" but had a hell of a career for himself. One of the earlier slot receivers.
  13. This was something that really pissed me off this morning…. Someone pulled out ahead of me extremely abruptly out of a gas station forcing me to SLAM on the brakes. I feel like in a way if the person who was behind me rear ended me it’s not even so much their fault versus the person who cut me off and well just drive off.
  14. They sell them at Wegmans by me for $11 each now. Too expensive for me. While not as good as ones in Buffalo they are still pretty tasty. Before food inflation they were like 6 or 7 bucks. I’m willing to pay money in general for good sandwiches though. There’s an old fashioned Italian deli about 45 minutes from my house I take a ride for a stuffed Italian sandwich there with every meat you could think of. $20 for that sandwich
  15. @muppy I listened to Joanne last night in full the first time. I liked The Fame album the best still. Here she sounds more refined vs raw if you will. But yeah I still enjoyed. This was my fave track
  16. All I got is Andy Kaufman. I think his wrestling bits count as physical comedy even if they weren't meant to amuse anyone but himself. Totally hysterical to me how deep he got into wrestling and in this video when he comes out underneath the Mummy's costume. Frigging funny.
  17. I was reading about Robert Tepper and watched a podcast of him lately. The song below was really his only known one. But he seems to have done well overall for a lifetime where music was his livelihood. He was a co writer on Into The Night. its funny when he started this performance saying this might be why you spent your $20. So he has a sense of humor about it. But his performance is still priceless. It’s an epic song and I can’t stand the word epic. Lol
  18. Well um someone showed me this video last night. I’ll just say Gen Z for ya
  19. My experience of this site long before Watson was a Brown is that Bills fans love to goof on the Browns to make themselves feel better about themselves.
  20. I liked the Allen draft but at the same time all his credentials up at that point read exactly like EJ Manuel to me. So I was excited but skeptical.
  21. https://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/denise-richards-wild-things-docuseries-210000374.html#:~:text=is returning to E! for,Complicated that debuted in 2008. Lol. I did not take your quote literally. My work environment has its share of catty women. But I guess I could of 😁
  22. I’ll assume no members here watch those shows but you never know. We have a family member that’s a big fan of all those shows. Even has a podcast about them. I know of Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards are on them. Both to me extremely gorgeous women that ruined their faces to appear on them shows. About alls I know.
  23. The thing is Stefanski seems to be really good at maxing out the ability of his QBs with his play calling. Not only with Joe Flacco but Jacoby Brisett the year before. I mean like Watson the Browns don’t even really need.
