When we were 5-2 everyone was telling me how good we looked that aren't Bills fans. Heck even some Patriot fans felt we were legit and scared them a little. I drank the cool aid a little but definitely didn't share other people's optimism. I mean they haven't followed the team like us the fans do. I feel it's the right move... you'd have to be a Bills fan to get it

I say go for it! The only depressing thing is by then our drought will have a Master's degree (maybe even a P.H.D) and four years plus legally being able to drink alcohol. Easy to say now but by 2024 how will you feel?

I'd say San Diego but its L.A. now. There was also the playoff loss a little earlier that year as well in January. We've always struggled against the Chargers (12-23-2 all time) even during good times. Does anyone give us any chance for next week?

Well to be fair as awful as we've looked these last two weeks we would be the #6 seed if the season ended today. But yeah anyone whose followed this team for any lengthy period of times knows there's no shot.

Agree. I have a good buddy whose a big Panthers fan. I asked him how he thought McDermott would fare here in the summer. He thought OK but his biggest issue with him as defensive coordinator with the Panthers was his teams usually tired defensively by the 4th quarter. It's mid way through the season now and these guys just look tired/defeated/jet legged, etc. I'd be surprised if they win two more games this year at this pace. I mean most of us didn't expect the playoffs this year. I say start Peterman the rest of the way and prepare for next year.
