Other people that couldn’t stand the Patriots during 2001-2019 used to point to the division and be like…. Yeah they are just good because it’s 6 easy wins against the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills. Perhaps it’s now reversed that it’s the Bills that are good and the other 3 teams bad. But you know what I could care less. It’s a solid product the Bills fanbase has now.

I know the Bills with Rob Johnson had a game where they converted the longest 4th down in history against the Colts. But it was in 2001 not 1998. At this point nobody remembers the Bills got blown out that day but that record still stands!! kinda cool

Look for years the image I had of him was somebody overly obnoxious because of his speaking tones. So I understand that being a complete turnoff. I have to admit though if I actually tried to hear him out…. a lot of times his takes on things aren’t bad at all.

I pride myself on not being a Bills/Josh Allen homer but I definitely agree. I mean how many threads and posts during that awful 2001-2019 stretch against the Patriots did I see No Moral Victories as a theme. Because usually one of the 2 games against the Patriots those years were pretty close. Reverse logic this time around.

A win is a win. Even in that awful stretch of 2001-2019 the Bills gave the Patriots plenty of tough fought games.

After last season not much the Mets would have done would have excited me. That being said the image I had of Stearns was he was too much of an analytical guru for this to work. His age and lack of experience playing the game I thought would be a determinant to him being able to spot younger talent. That being said I'm happy to admit I was off on him. The moves he made all seemed to work last season. I have full faith in team and Mendoza going forward. The Yankees losing the World Series to the Dodgers definitely helped me feel good about the year. While they had a real good season sorry that would have a real bitter pill for me to swallow seeing the Yankees celebrating another championship.

I don't mind visiting moderately upscale places once in a while just to see what the deal is so to speak. My fave places to eat are a Donut/Lunchette shop and a Coney Island Hot Dog Restaurant. Both in the Hispanic parts of the city by me but you get the best bang for your dollar in terms of quality of food. Plus no pretentious types eat there. 5 courses? I feel bloated just reading that. And look who my avatar is 🤣

your man was one of those as well. Kept pumpkins and dressed Daniel in that shower costume 😅. Yeah I definitely get grouchier around Christmas. Perhaps since we don’t have kids of our own a lot Christmas stuff comes off way too commercialized?

You get to dress up and eat candy. And since I don’t have kids of my own this is my chance to exposed of kids today giving out chocolate. Plus people are usually in a little better of a mood. It certainly a hell of a lot better to me than Thanksgiving or Christmas with family drama. It does not help at all it’s an election year!

I’m on record as saying the Mario signing was disappointing overall. To me my expectation was with that kind of contract he got I expect a generational Josh Allen type of talent/performance. But I do remember his signing was a real big deal too to actually see a top player like him want to come and play in Buffalo. I think Gailey sets some credit for building that culture at the time.

Fitz was still quarterback when Mario got signed to that deal. 2012 was probably the most disappointing season I had as a Bills fan. At least today winning the AfC East seems a given.

I wasn't using the site at the time but I've heard that as well. I was also very psyched when the Bills signed him. His first year he was all right in 2012. In 2013 & 2014 he had good years under Marrone & Schwartz. Then in 2015 he kind of regressed when rex was the coach. During his time here he was still better than Von so far. But I mean as you alluded with the epic threads and I think he had the highest contract for a defense player at the time...... I expected a generational type talent. My unpopular opinion is he was kinda disappointing overall from expectations.

Good for Geno..... prior my memory of him was the November 2013 Bills/Jets game. Which speaking of E.J that was probably the best game of his career. And Geno was brutal that day. How things work out over the long run....
