  1. I thought Jack ran a good campaign overall. But he did nothing at all to distance himself from Trump. The only think he said he didn’t agree with him was the Tylenol comments Looks like it sunk him
  2. Could go in the nostalgic thread as well
  3. He's still way better/funnier than any comedians today. RIP. When late nights shows were good too at showcasing young talent like that. Today 💩🤮
  4. I'm not going to get too high... Lord knows the team has had success against the Chiefs in the prior regular seasons That being said still a solid Win that helps with the standings. Plus KC is a bit behind the 8 ball now
  5. Joey B had a great game (Josh and Cook did too but I expected it)
  6. In retrospect maybe wasn't a bad time to try a FG to see what Prater is made of. Or what his deep range is
  7. Gov Murphy is extremely unpopular in Jersey. Perhaps even more so than Trump. The 2021 governor election was much closer than predicted. My gut says it’s gonna be a really really close race.
  8. An all time great performance. I can’t help but think of it with politics today. Put these guys in charge Im a dirt dog Droppin these mockeries lyrically performed armed robery i bomb atomically
  9. I will never ever dislike the Bengals. Helped break the playoff drought and won the 2021 AFC championship against the Chiefs. if not they would have made I believe 6 straight Super bowls
  10. Hhhm no one’s thought yet that costume is a subtle dig against McDermott 😂.
  11. What’s crazy was my friend who is a Jets fan knew all about that poster as well. News spread about him
  12. It was on FLY today. Thought the song was hilarious. Especially Sisqos part
  13. Perhaps this is a little too current yet for nostalgia..... but seeing Andy Dalton again playing last week the Jets and now this week the Bills this brought back memories. I know the last 2 weeks were disappointing but yeah Andy helped bring back those nostalgic memories if you will. Remember where the team came from
  14. This does nothing to dispel conspiracy theorists
  15. Geno's and Pat's I'm pretty sure are like the Philadelphia versions of the Anchor Bar. I had a friend who grew up a few blocks from there tell me more less those places are just tourist traps. But they are the most famous cheese steak shops and across the street from each other. There's probably better ones I don't know of but remember this place was pretty good https://www.eatatshanks.com Also, Reading Terminal Market is good for food in general..... if you're in center city that should be nearer
  16. That's the way I felt about Glenn... I actually thought he was a good hire I could see them beating the Bills the last game of the year (Bills resting starters for the playoffs) and hurting getting the number #1 seed. But then again the Patriots were in those shoes last year and now look at them.
  17. They were sort of good that year though
  18. Frank Reich with them in 96 and Tyrod this year. Just something I find ironic. Both strong parallels in that they are/were both at their end of their careers but still serviceable as a strong backup QB type. And they gave their teams the best QB option on the roster those years. Out and about yesterday was listening to the postage show… I’ll say Tyrod is the ultimate professional
  19. Stuff like this is stupid and a waste of time. On the one hand it’s a social event but it’s all people that just live in their echo chambers interacting with each other. An independent looks at this and goes… yeah and how is this making my life better?
  20. I mean at age 56 Jennifer Lopez below..... as Beavis wound say boooiiiing. lol I imagine she's not everyone's favorite but she still looks damn good With no NFL game of any real significant attachment too today, I visited Edgar Allan Poe's last home he lived in New York. I mean as you know I love nostalgic stuff and what not so this place was up my alley. The thing that struck me.... when they told me his age of death there it's the same age I am today. This was the mid 1800s. I mean I know he things going on with him but sometimes it's kinda remarkable to think of it like that for a nerd like me.
  21. I liked their output up until Intergalactic. After that I stopped liking them. Today, I rarely listen to them
  22. Watched this film for the first time in about 10 years last night. Still loved it. Feel it could very well be in my top #10 of all time The nostalgic part that holds up still real well is the main character Rusty James was nostalgic for how life was with his brother and gang fights before he traveled cross country. But yeah even back then this sorta hit the theme of You just can't go back in time kind of thing for prior life.
