  1. So last year around now I was pushing 195 lbs at 5'9". I felt for the first time since I was younger I could stand to lose some weight. So I tried eating better and hit the treadmill. Even did a 5k in the summer. I can't do them nearly as fast I used to in my 20s but still. I got down to about 180-183 lbs in September. Thought I was doing going but I've been slowly gaining the weight back. Up to about 190 lbs. I feel like haven't really done anything that dramatically different then the summer. But maybe subconsciously in colder/darker weather I've been craving more calories. At anyway I googled it in our information age and looks like I'm not alone https://nutritionfacts.org/blog/seasonal-weight-gain-in-the-fall/
  2. My boss used to scare the b-jesus out of me the first few years I dealt with her. Enough that I started threads even here about her and even PM's some members as well. As the years went by I got to know her better and what to expect kind of thing and how to brace for her. Pretty good relationship today. That being said it's your boss. Not your friend or family at the end of the day. Except for @Draconator 😀
  3. He does give off Richard Head vibes so to speak. I have to think that's at least part of the reason they both walked
  4. Yeah I mean for 5 years 155 million I can’t believe the Mets didn’t match, WTF, I thought they were past these days!
  5. Joe Benigno makes me laugh But that station has gone severely down hill over the years. Yeah Evan used to be more a sports guy now he’s changed to try and give it a Barstool feel. plus that vermin Craig Carton is rehired for the old Mike and the Mad Dog slot. Its easily worse than ESPN overall
  6. Yeah the last sentence about being antsy…. I feel like so far I’m not sure what direction Stearns and Cohen are going. Could be the right one for all we know just seems like they’re not being transparent or something
  7. Gotta agree. I mean look I have zero athletic experience at even the college level but it still pisses me off when players like this go to rivals for maybe a slightly better deal. Hell I’m not even a Giants fan and disliked Barkley after he became an Eagle.
  8. Overall no But there’s some songs I like
  9. In honor of tonights Sabres/Flyers game
  10. Still really funny
  11. How many are here? Football wise my first memories were the Super Bowl years. It feels like an in between generation. Can still appreciate the advice of elders in my family but have some of the younger generations skepticism about things. I feel old often these days but I’m not.
  12. Which as a history nerd I think that's pretty cool. And the Bills are closing in on .500 all time versus them. I never had the same level of dislike for the Steelers as the Patriots, Cowboys, or more recently the Chiefs. But it felt up until 2019 in my lifetime a Bills/Steelers game would always automatically be a loss. I vaguely remember the Playoff Game after the comeback against the Steelers with Frank Reich. I don't remember the 1999 Bills beating them at all which was the only win after the 92 Playoff game until 2019. The games more in solid memory are the last one in 2004, the Stevie drop game, and the 2016 game which more or less ended that season. Long story short the Steelers in my lifetime always had the model franchise feel to it. While the Bills largely had the Charlie Brown chases after Lucy to kick the football feel to it. So yeah it's pretty cool
  13. I've gone there since it opened in 2000 and it's a pretty good consistent place if one ever needs in an update in their wardrobe. Even the most high end store there 5th Ave for clothes sells stuff like Moschino at fairly reasonably prices. It's in Elizabeth next to Newark and the Newark Airport so it's great location. Plus right across the Bayonne and Goethals Bridges nearby is Staten Island or New York City. Jersey doesn't charge tax on certain clothes sales while NYC does. Maybe NY state does? But yeah that brings people across the river there as well me hypothesizes
  14. Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth is definitely one exception to the argument malls are dying in 2025. Was a line up off the Turnpike this morning to get there and a couple weekends ago I couldn’t even find a parking place there I just decided to leave.
  15. Pumpkin pie but that’s it
  16. Not a fan of it either
  17. Depending how it’s served it can be a very gamey/dry meat. Personally not my fave
  18. @ExWNYer @Gugny @SinceThe70s Always liked Nimmo. Sad to see him go. Unless this trade was done to save money for re-signing big Pete or something else up their sleeve I'll be disappointed.
  19. There was another Lifetime movie like that Another Woman's Husband or something like that with pre housewives Lisa Rinna I actually thought wasn't bad. I still own a Playboy mag she was in 2009 so yeah that was um my first inspiration to watch. Yeah bottom line though like you say once in a while if something catches my eye they aren't bad watches from time to time. And it might be interesting as well outside perspectives on Bills fandom to watch.
  20. I looked at the standings. Is this like the closest the whole Eastern Conference is in standings with each other ever? The Sabres have the least amount of points but only 10 points behind the #1 seed
  21. The Houston game was a classic trap game that fell very obnoxiously on the schedule. Traveling half across the country on short notice after a tough win a few days before
  22. Buffalo 66 would be very good watching after this for reality
