  1. Something of a complement to that other thread. I went to Katonah Pizza yesterday in the Woodlawn Heights part of the Bronx. I was there years ago and remember it being real good. Went there yesterday and it did not disappoint at all. To me it had the all makings: Thin curst Generous size portions Oily but not like real oily or greasy Served at just the right temperature. Warm but doesn't burn my mouth And how it digests in my stomach at my age plays a big part as well. I have a sensitive stomach. The fact it didn't turn me into a gas/fart machine minutes later tells me it was real good. A modest place but that place is the real deal.
  2. Spring Training- it's more just exciting to me to see baseball being played again and the end of winter. I've never really looked too deeply into it. After the Mets started so poor last year and brought it the rest of the year I can't get too wrapped into it. I mean at least that's how I look at it. Misterbluesky was the poster on these old threads that would get stressed out watching Spring Training games. I miss him
  3. Pretty astute observations by O Reilly. Dems today are way too much ruled by how much they hate Trump to make sense to most people
  4. Definitely not obese but maybe a little by the BMI standards
  5. Any sufferers? My dad just found he has moderate sleep apnea after getting tested.
  6. I remember at the ice cream parlor last summer seeing a girl like what you described working there. Blonde, very young, and scantily dressed. Then it looked like it was either her dad or boyfriend that showed up..... he was easily older than her. I could see them talking intensely in each other faces for like 5 minutes before she went back to work and he drove off. She was still cute too even arguing.... That being said this was like in the middle of the summer so the short shorts and belly shirts might be a little more understandable temperature wise...... I mean it is still technically winter and she is dressing like that? idk I know when I was 25 and got laid off from a job I was happy more than anything and had no idea or would even think of pursuing legal action...... You think she is very smart/savvy when it comes to her rights?
  7. Yeah part of the charm of the bar I go to is it's pretty introvert friendly. I guess that's not what one has in mind with the bar scene? There's one or two regulars there I see quite a bit. But I've only seen like 2 or 3 times in the past year a group of more than three shooting the breeze with each other at the bar. It's in a largely Hispanic city the bar where I hang out sometimes so I don't even think St. Patty's Day is a big thing. But def some Irish pubs it's still very much a thing here.
  8. Yeah like once a week or after bad days I’ll go to the bar and get a drink. I enjoy chilling out there a little and having some conversations with the bar tender there. Well I’m an introvert so I actually enjoy sometimes brining a note pad to the bar and write out all the things on my head/need to get accomplished
  9. @Gugny@ExWNYer@SinceThe70s A good time for another thread. The season will be here by the end of the month already. Being a Mets fan I'll never be like 100% all in on being confident but still lots to like for this season. Mendoza & Stearns both exceeded my expectations last season. Soto- I definitely think they over payed but at the same time it's a clear W against the team from the bronx Pete- didn't go that smoothly for sure but at least he's still a Met. LGM
  10. bag of chips and some type of beer on draft
  11. An older Millennial so will only include ones I've seen play. I still have love for Joe Ferguson though 1. Kelly 2. Allen 3. Reich 4. Flutie 5. tie btw Fitz and Tyrod 6. Orton 7. Bledsoe 8. pretty much Johnson/Losman/Edwards/Locomb/Manuel are the same to me Want back and edited mine after seeing you included Reich. Loved the dude even though he wasn't ever a starter
  12. I'm not a big college basketball fan per se. But there's some nice nostalgia seeing St. John's have success again. Felipe Lopez- remember him at all? I want to say that was the last they were this good
  13. I know Al Pacino was in that when he was like really young. I remember reading him and Al didn’t get along the best. let me know how it is
  14. One the great TV theme songs of all time
  15. cool sometimes to watch these reaction videos
  16. My mom still has like a very disturbing hatred for her mother in law whose been dead 5 years already. Bottom line I don’t think she did much research into what my dad’s family was before. Some of her feelings are legit but it’s like very unhealthy and disturbing at this point.
  17. I want to say the Bills beating the Redskins in 2011 is the only time I remember the Bills winning a game not in the U.S? The team at least never has luck playing the Jags abroad
  18. They haven’t been having a good year by their standards. If you read I said he had great accomplishments in my last post. what I meant was if UConn keeps having disappointing seasons how many kids are going to want to play for coach Hurley. Especially with his style of coaching
  19. The Hogan Family theme song. Still stands out in my head all these many years later it was that good
  20. UConn got it handed to them yesterday. I mean he still has great accomplishments it’s just how many kids now are going to out up with his very rough around the edges style of coaching? Especially with no real results. He can lead himself to burnout
  21. It was the 80 season but that Charger playoff game was in 1981. Fergs was hurt in that game
