Anybody else have faith in AJ Mccarron?

All he got was a ringing endorsement from the team's coach who could not understand his draft number. -

"Highlight packages are put together to accentuate positive plays." That knife slices both ways. "Entire games tell a much more accurate picture of what a prospect is capable of." But what was his winning %? How many national titles? "AJM would have been the same low round prospect he was in 2014 vs. the 2018 QB class. " That is hard to say given the hip surrounding this class. "BTW, Joe Namath, Ken Stabler, and Richard Todd all say "Hello"." What does that mean, are some sort of forum snob?" -

Alabama's Greatest QB of All Time, AJ McCarron. AJ is the All Time Leader in Passing Yards, Completions, Completion Percentage, Passing Touchdowns and Passer Rating I fail to see how these highlights are not equal to highlights of the top four or six in this year's draft. -
The Patriots were also interested in AJ McCarron. https://www.cincyjungle.com/2018/3/14/17119352/report-patriots-offered-aj-mccarron-a-contract

The higher purpose: two championships with Alabama, and Bills to Super Bowl. Reich had greatest comeback game for Maryland in college, and with the Bills as a pro. McCarron reminds me a bit of Mayfield. He was also highly successful in college, is confident, wants to prove himself. is accurate, except he is a little taller. The most religious person I have known was my grandmother. She was German born, and Protestant, but deeply religious. I wish McCarron well. Very possible he is better than the top five.

Initially, Jim Kelly did not want to come here, skipped on debts and had a bar room incident. Then he found Jesus, and became a HOF QB. Maybe we will find another HOF QB and maybe we will just have to suffer another twenty years. Good Luck. BTW, you did not read the link. CK may be Denver's best option at QB going forward.
-
Because he has WNY roots, and his career could eclipse this entire QB draft class.

Why in the world did the Bills not draft Chad Kelly? https://www.milehighreport.com/2018/2/21/17038690/look-chad-kelly-phil-simms

I can not disagree more with "reactionary fans misconstruing". Disrespect was shown not only the flag, but the country it symbolizes. McCoy was at one point on the ground exercising. There was no "misconstruing" here. With regard to being "reactionary" that is liberal speak for taking offense to any offensive action intentionally made. Good. Let the NFL fall apart. Which is more important, USA or NFL?

Of course, I agree with you, however the justice system is open to activism, and through court capriciousness and judge shopping, anything is possible.

Hernandez's brain was examined after his death and showed damage. Perhaps his violent behavior was not his fault. Dr. Bennet Ifeakandu Omalu basically said as much in the 48 hour expose.

How to Save Football Players’ Brains
Niagara replied to Niagara's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe another option would be to have a team weight cap, just like a salary cap. It would open the game up to more players. Each team could then spread the weight around to the different positions as it now does money. Less weight, less force, less injuries. -
https://www.wsj.com/articles/how-to-save-football-players-brains-1516403567?mod=searchresults&page=1&pos=1 The following is a Commentary in weekend edition of WSJ by Dr. Auerbach who is an professor of emergency medicine at Stanford. Appeared in the January 20, 2018, WSJ print edition. "One simple rule change would solve much of the problem: Require the linemen to stand up." " Down lineman are the large, heavy and strong players positioned at the line of scrimmage, usually in a crouching stance with one or both hands touching the turf. On the offense, they block opposing players, protecting or clearing a path for the quarterback and running backs. On the defense, they try to tackle the ball carrier. When the ball is snapped, these opposing linemen collide head to head like rams in a territorial dispute. Their brains decelerate quickly—play after play after play."

Josh Allen is a big NFL draft risk but still a super fun college QB to watch https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/12/22/16776200/josh-allen-2018-nfl-draft-wyoming-quarterback "If you just look at the numbers, there is no way he’s a first-round quarterback. There has to be some semblance of production in college to justify some a lofty draft ranking, even if you’re playing with a talent disadvantage around you. If you can’t complete passes in college, why should we believe that you can complete them in the NFL? It’s the same sport." -
Hypothetical - If Peterman won the game

https://www.yahoo.com/news/savior-alabama-never-knew-needed-tua-tagovailoa-084441084.html Shut out at halftime and fortunate to only be trailing in the College Football Playoff championship game by 13 points, Nick Saban’s vaunted Alabama machinewas breaking down in front of a shocked national audience. The Crimson Tide were in disarray and staring defeat in the face against poised and confident Georgia. In this dire situation, Saban turned to a raw freshman and asked him to rescue Alabama’s title hopes. -

Another problem is Brady is in the division. Any QB we will ever have will be compared to him and Kelly. Unless our QB is comparable, the search will continue. You will never win this division with Tyrod unless Brady is out of it. This is true, but the QB position influences the rest of the team like no other. Brady elevates his team. He makes average players great. Three and outs destroy the defense. They get tired and demoralized. -
It is not their fault. The teams are cursed. There is something supernatural about it. A whole generation has been born to know the Bills only as looserd and broken. Perhaps time will cure, but coaching does not seem to matter.

It continues to amaze me how insightful some of the comments are on these forum pages. Dennison was a second choice here as Offensive Coordinator, and Denver was happy to be rid of him. Matter2003 would be a better OC. Making a change to Peterman was not wrong given TTs previous two outings, but Peterman certainly was not given any help either (see above). And this injury thing with the Bills. No matter who coaches them, Bills players always seem to be made of glass. Sammy Watkins is fine in LA, but not here. That was a beautiful pass to Benjamin, but of course Benjamin is carted off on a cart and thereby taking him off the table for Peterman. And the tipped pass was by a seasoned vet brought here to steady the ship causing one of the interceptions.

Kap is a pariah, a leper, who will never work again in the NFL. He is the red meat being thrown to the sharks in the stands. Many are enjoying his pain; the owners in particular, because he has cost them real pain in the pocketbook. Soon his pain will be felt by the players when a new collective agreement is to be struck, and the commissioner when his contract is not renewed. -

Before he did his knee, he sat on his tush. He was making millions, and he sat during the National Anthem. There is something disingenuous when a multimillionaire disrespects a symbol so sacred to most, but not all Americans. His beef was racial disparity, yet he was being compensated at that time more than 99.9% of those people in the stadium. What disparity? He had no standing coming from a white upscale adoptive family, and enjoying the American dream. It was pure 100% disrespect of country. That is what I find so offensive.
