  1. Who is this team you are referring to? I know it isn't the Bills who spectacularly overreached for a QB who has bust written all over him, and traded up for a LB regarded as a 2nd round talent by many.
  2. Arm strength is about 80 yard bombs. Arm TALENT is about touch and accuracy. About explaining accuracy, maybe Dilfer should just play some tape on Rosen.
  3. No way a #7 pick should be sitting for a year. But then, no way should Allen be that pick.
  4. McD says "you look for guys who can make plays." So how in God's name do you the take Allen over Rosen. Or over Jackson for that matter. Allen wasn't even considered the best QB in a rinky dink conference. And one of the big criticisms is that he didn't make plays when it counted! If the Bills are very, very lucky, they can" coach him up" to Kyle Boller/Jake Locker level. And to think they traded UP for him. It's just embarrassing.
  5. Soul crushing, especially with Rosen sitting there. To make it even worse they traded UP when his stock was likely dropping because of the tweets. Considering the need at QB, the fan anticipation, the importance of the position and the availability of Rosen, this might be the biggest first round blunder in Bills history.
  6. Just saw McShay who most certainly did NOT think the Allen pick was great. And he thinks the Bills screwed up with the Edmunds pick.
  7. Six packs? Guys used to bring in kegs, plus hibachis to do a little cooking during the games. Then to the Grotto Bar afterwards. Freakin' Rockpile, what a place.
  8. He also said the Bills trade to 6 and take...Allen, with Rosen sitting there.
  9. There is a way to play a hedge if the Giants are willing.
  10. "Snowflake." Kinda dated, don't you think. At least your choice of " commie" has a cute, retro feel to it. Can "fellow traveler" be far behind? "Snowflake." Kinda dated, don't you think. At least your choice of " commie" has a cute, retro feel to it. Can "fellow traveler" be far behind?
  11. BB, when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
  12. The booming economy is thanks to the previous administration. Right now it's teetering on the edge. Last I looked, N. Korea is still nuked up. When Kim says denuclearization he means if we have to withdraw ours (You'd know this if you read a legitimate paper). And what strength in the Middle East? We've been pushed to the sidelines, Russia has replaced us as the Big Power, and they, Iran and Turkey are negotiating the endgame without us.
  13. I can hear you in Germany in the 30s telling Jews to just shut up and run their shops.
  14. And I hope you get your pony for Christmas too.
  15. As things stand at the moment, Rosen isn't going to be available to the Bills. The only safe way to grab him is with the number 2 pick, which doesn't seem to be in the cards. And there's a chance Cleveland takes him with the first pick anyway, Of course, that would mean Darnold's available and he's without a doubt the better bet of the two. He's the closest thing to "can't miss" of all the QBs.
  16. You have just summed up the key problem in the world today, not just in football evaluation.
  17. But in 2017 he only got "Honorable Mention." So I guess that doesn't matter.
  18. I wish them well.
  19. Allen wasn't chosen as best QB in his conference, not even Runner Up. And that's the people who know him best.
  20. Put it one of the zillion other draft/QB threads. He's held out for a starting job and starter's pay.
  21. He's physically on the downside but his money demands are on the upside. Pass.
  22. If it's for Darnold, give up whatever it takes. Otherwise stand pat.
  23. He might have been right. Who knows what would have happened w/o Pegs?
  24. Logical discontinuities and false reasoning. Let me offer an analogy about a prospect from an earlier time: "Because no great boxer ever came out of Louisville, this Cassius Clay kid will never amount to much."
