  1. RBs were great, particularly with this line. But the one area that really caught my attention was the massive improvement against the run. Of course, this was offset by the equally massive drop off in pass defense.
  2. Baldinger is one a very few former players I pay attention to.
  3. One of the cool things about TSW is you are not required to read every thread. No he didn't.
  4. Odds are Darnold replaces Brady as Bills fans bete noir for at least the next decade.
  5. They did stand out. I also wasn't impressed by White.
  6. What do you mean "we"? Other than showing he has a Jeff George arm and was inaccurate with it, I didn't see anything to change my opinion that McBeane made a huge mistake paying what they did for this kid. If winning the SB is the goal, the record shows that none of the dominant QBs - Starr, Bradshaw, Montana, Aikman, Brady - were big arms. But it's early, and I'm hoping against hope he turns out to be "The One."
  7. That's my take as well. Still, it's only one game.
  8. Best story so far from.this TC.
  9. Who are these 3 viable QBs? I see 3 guys who are more likely to be high school gym teachers in 5 years.
  10. According to the LA Times Mayfield and Allen got their offset language. Have no idea why the Jets are refusing to do the same for Darnold.
  11. WR, the front 7, O line overall. I'm also keeping an eye on RB.
  12. Whether or not he dislikes the Bills, seems to me his assessment of Allen and Benjamin is based on facts. While I hope Allen turns into a star, he is most definitely a very long shot based on his entire career to date.
  13. Really enjoyed your report. Just wondering if you have any insider connections or if this is just from solid research.
  14. What, he didn't have good coaching at Stanford?
  15. Never heard of it.
  16. Little early to make those conclusions, I'd say.
  17. Washington post or New York Times. (Sorry, I couldn't pass it up)
  18. Magical thinking. Because so many teams need a "franchise QB," the taking of any reasonably sentient QB in the first round therefore magical makes that QB a "franchise QB." In a sane world, he'd have been a late 2nd to a mid 3rd round pick, maybe later considering his major shortcomings.
  19. Why do you think he's still available?
  20. I appreciate your enthusiasm though you might be overstating Milano's talent and understating the youth and inexperience of Edmunds. Still, their Bills now, so let's hope you get your wish. We'll all be rooting for them I'm sure.
  21. I thought this was going to be about the Marx Brothers.
