  1. I’ve been calling him “ F$@& Off Tom” in my head. That works better I think.
  2. I ate an extra helping of Xmas dinner. just to be ready in case I was needed for the line. 6’5”, 242lbs is 4 pounds closer than I was Xmas morning.
  3. You don’t play football on a partially torn Achilles tendon. It would be idiocy. A lot of players have come back from them after surgery, but the movement of an offensive lineman or a defensive lineman really does not lend itself to playing with that kind of injury.
  4. Even a partially torn Achilles will be out for the season and require surgery.
  5. Jerry always gets those big pressures. Really exciting to watch. Sadly, he’s not getting home enough. But, his impact on the game is unquestioned
  6. Yeah. That number three defence in the league sure is super antiquated.
  7. If I can’t get an exemption for the lost players I’ve got in my fantasy football playoff, then no asterisk. Whoever wins it, wins it. That’s the team that put together the best season in the 2021/22 football season. An * belongs next to the patriots with deflate gate and spy gate. edit: not that fantasy dictates the league, it was just the comparison that came to mind as I have Ekeler, Gabe and Cook on my team.
  8. Touchdown Jesus is the replacement. If he’s good enough for Aaron Rodgers, I am sure he’s plenty good enough.
  9. The problem with Bates remains sample size. We know who Ford is and who he isn’t, but with Bates not playing a lot of reps over the last two years, we are just projecting.
  10. Some of us are acting like Kendrick Bourne is Jason Bourne. He’s a mid tier wide receiver and he has Mac Jones throwing to him. You don’t need to hide from this guy. Does it suck that the Pats* got back one of their better wide receivers? Yes. Is it more so because we will not see Gabriel Davis on the field? Absolutely.
  11. I’m sure that this will not go over well with some members of the group, but why are players putting themselves at risk? What should be happening at this point in the season is go to practice, go home and relax. If you live with others, explain to them that all the pretty things that they have in the house that they live in are because they are a professional football player. If they like pretty things, they need to stay in the house or go for walks in the woods away from other people. They are putting their occupation at risk. They have a job to do and the job is to make the NFL football playoffs and be a contributing member of the team. You can’t contribute if you’re not there. It may not be easy, but it’s the right thing to do based upon the multi million dollar a year contracts that they have agreed-upon.
  12. His issue was that he shot it straight in his forehead.
  13. It’s mind-boggling that Jerry Jones had $150 million in 1989. Though, it took incredible foresight to purchase a franchise for that much money and to see it through all the way till now when it’s worth a staggering amount.
  14. It’s an MJ thing…we wouldn’t understand…
  15. No one can defend that line play against Carolina. Just as a sidenote, Brown was not benched because of his play, but because of a really stupid taunting penalty and the need for him to get his head straight. I’m sure that it made it easier to pull him when he was obviously acting as a turnstile.
  16. Everybody wants to have the next Kelce or Kittle, but even those two have had off weeks. Look at Kelce two weeks ago. He was definitely not on his game. Dawson came into the league with hardly any receptions in college. We all knew he was a work in progress, but the progress is looking really good so far. We have to take those bad weeks as long as we get the majority of games being very good, which he has had this season.
  17. I’m not sure why, but I really like that image of Josh as a deadeye. Not up, not down, just ready to rumble.
  18. That was my thought as well. Burns is a beast and was going to be a challenge with or without Dawkins.
  19. You just described TBD favourite Lee Smith very well.
  20. Not if you’re using a Microsoft product as your basis he’s not.
  21. Did he slide in there....nope. He came up short.....
  22. I’m sorry that we here at TBD have made it uncomfortable for you. I’m assuming you meant OBD?
  23. In this mornings meeting, JFK Junior told me that Oprah and Tom Cruise had spoken to Goodell and wanted the Bills to win.
  24. It’s a win. When your team wins, the correct response is to be happy. The incorrect response is to not be happy. Wait until next week and be unhappy if they lose. It’s much healthier to be happy. I’m going to go with being happy. Let’s hope that we don’t have to worry about seeing Brown next week at left tackle. Doyle even looked better in his few snaps.
  25. Sounds like the Bills might’ve joined in on Oprah’s Covid Christmas. Covid for you! Covid for you!
