What is better, no guns, or more guns?
MiltonWaddams replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I've been present for their use, but not in semi-automatic or automatic weapons. Based on my observations, it would have offered a greatly muffled sound from the level of the shooting, giving the shooter more time prior to being discovered. That may be seconds, but in a situation like this that would have been sufficient to have ended many more human lives. If I am wrong, I accept that, but I do not sense that I am based on what I have read and witnessed. -

I pray not. The right to bear arms was imposed under a very particular context. It is widely abused and offered as an explanation to allow for all types of guns and personal defense arms. I am not against guns, just the ability for people to acquire them so easily and in such powerful quality and quantity. -

That's a genius statement right there. So, you're saying that she's wrong? How the hell is her statement incorrect? If no one heard it happening, it would have gone far worse. This is a national tragedy and will, justifiably, be used by the anti-gun crowd to push for tougher legislation. Why the hell should anyone have a silencer though? Are we now supposed to be secret agents when defending ourselves? Sneak up on our attackers and take them off one by one in a cloak of darkness? -
Stephon Gilmore is Trending
MiltonWaddams replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We really shouldn't hate him so much. He gave us the opportunity to grab Tre AND he reduced the quality of the Pats secondary. He may be my favourite non-Bills player!! -
Ejections and suspensions
MiltonWaddams replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To some that might sound nuts, but you are right. I played both and the tackles I had in each were immensely different. The helmet gives a confidence level that makes things like that occur. The game would change to a high degree, but if the owners and fans really care about player safety, it would be supported and we would grow accustomed to the changes. -
Options to replace DT D. Coleman
MiltonWaddams replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mabin is my best guess. Whoever it is won't be active anyway -
Dawkins played really well against a very stout defence last week. Keep Glenn out until he is well healed up. I can see him being sat until after the bye week. Two ankle injuries to a left tackle who relies on his athleticism and side to side movement can be something that renders them extremely ineffective.

They have secretly signed Kaepernick and will bring him out from behind a shroud before the anthem to successfully piss off the fan base better than last week. The ultimate troll move. -
Rick Dennison is "Tayloring" the Bills' Offense
MiltonWaddams replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That stat is 100% accurate. The other 39% of the time the D was getting scored on. How could we possibly be better than that? Rex in-effect-ual. -
Tre White named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month

No surprise here. He has been excellent for the vast majority of the time. Great to see the recognition! -
Bills 15th in rankings this week.
MiltonWaddams replied to JM2009's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on the knowledge of Peterman garnered from this board, he would have assuredly doubled that mark. -
You have a better chance of getting killed by a natural-born 4th generation American than you do an immigrant. Terrorism has many forms, though looking at today's political "leadership " , you would assume it is something solely undertaken by Muslims and Muslim sympathizers from the "left". This is a sad and horrible thing, done by a vile and broken human being. However, we cannot allow for further division and dis-trust to overtake America. What a sad and broken country todays USA is. If this is"MAGA", I'd hate to thinkof what isto come.

Companies are starting to take sides with protests
MiltonWaddams replied to Saxum's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Did you watch/ listen to Skip and Shannon yesterday? Shannon Sharpe nailed it. This is not the protest the owners want the players to think it is, it's a protest against Trump telling the owners what to do. It's a financial protest. If it were truly a protest for unity and inclusion, why wouldn't thishave happened around so many other more truly important events and controversial statements and actions by Trump. The true stupidity of this protest is that it serves solely to create even further discord and division. If the NFL WAS SMART, everyone would have stood with arms locked together, showing both solidarity and respect. -
Emergency Team Meeting - Regarding Trump comments?
MiltonWaddams replied to boater's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
That is how you read it and not what he stated at the time, but what was placed in a follow-up press release. Trump really has zero ability to consider his statements while he's making them. You can support him all you like, and I will never comprehend how someone can, but you cannot honestly believe that he is articulate, well-spoken or considerate of his words. Should a leader of a world power not at least provide these three attributes? -

That's okay. I'm actually trying to reduce my work load these days. -
Emergency Team Meeting - Regarding Trump comments?
MiltonWaddams replied to boater's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
While this is very true, should we not hold the president to a higher standard than others? It seems that the standard for which America tolerates political leaders and their level of communication just fell out of the sky the day Trump was elected. You may not have liked Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush etc., but they each were able to filter personal sentiment for the betterment of the whole. -
Emergency Team Meeting - Regarding Trump comments?
MiltonWaddams replied to boater's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How many of us have a national platform with which our protest can possibly bring attention to our cause? If I could start my work day once a week with an email to all of my clients explaining how I detest the president and all that he stands for, and I actually felt it would make an ounce of difference, I'd be on that. I don't like that the anthem has been chosen as the platform for this protest as there are so many things for which it stands that deserve respect, but today's America is a divided nation and so many of the NFL's players stand on the opposite side of it from the president. Having a president that openly states that a Nazi flag-carrying, gun-toting, anti-semetic chanting group of marchers has many good people in it is surely not invoking confidence in a group largely consisting of black and hispanic males. -
Favorite Bills Logo
MiltonWaddams replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nail on the head for me. I have shirts, hats and jackets with both, but for everyday wear I am a standing Buffalo guy. Gameday is either, but often charging Buffalo jacket and shirt under jersey. Jersey is always throwback. I even rocked the OJ week 1. That was a thrift store find in the late 90's I couldn't pass up but never wore. -
Jelani Jenkins already released (also Trae Elston)

That's a long limb. Jax has playoff aspirations and without Robinson, Hurns is the definite WR1. Marquise and Jaelen are not going to cause any D Coordinators sleep loss. -
Beyond Blue and Red: Jordan Poyer

Thank God for fantasy football. At least we get points there. -
Beyond Blue and Red: Jordan Poyer
MiltonWaddams replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My first thought when I saw that they had signed Poyer was " A Cleveland Browns DB coming off a write-off season?!". Apparently that was a stupid thought. He has been excellent in the first two games. This safety tandem is legit.
