Why Do you Love the Buffalo Bills?
MiltonWaddams replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My father without a doubt. He woukd go to games with friends when I was really young and I wanted to be part of that. After going to my first game I was even more hooked. -
It's funny how a good number of people want Shady cut or traded. That is about as dumb as it gets. He's the best player on the team, 30 or not. He gives it all on the field and has a solid rep as a teammate. His cap hit is hardly impactful. Add to that the sentiment expressed in this article and how could you want a guy like that gone?

Source: Major Bills news coming next week
MiltonWaddams replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I very much expect the next Bills player news to be Kyle. God bless him and the heart he brought to the team for his tenure here, but he should walk away on a high note with his health intact. -
The NFL could use a minor league. McMahon's ego is too big to do it, but it would be the best thing for the game. Although the on-field product of the NFLis hurting, in no small part due to the officiating, and the league has been plagued by off-field scandal with domestic abuse, murder and the anthem, we are so loyal to the league as football fans it will be an immense challenge to draw the vast majority of fans away.

Bob Costas Dumped From NBC Super Bowl Team
MiltonWaddams replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of the many reasons I am so happy to have girls. They know I played and my eldest has asked me about it, but she's much more keen on soccer, dance and gymnastics. Injuries can be bad in two of the three, but nothing like the concussions I, and the vast majority of college and pro football players, suffered. If CTE is caused by concussions, I can add myself to the list as I estimate about 8 or 9. What were the circumstances surrounding this photo? -

Is Tom Brady better than Jordan?
MiltonWaddams replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And you sound like a grade a ahole. Who calls someone that? GOAT team sport athlete. Should I spell it out to you Mr Genius? -
I think his source may just be the ever elusive Joe Webb package

Is Tom Brady better than Jordan?
MiltonWaddams replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You aren't entirely wrong as it is incredible the dominance of this Pats team under Brady. However, look at the coaching and players that have surrounded Brady and look at who Jordan played with and, perhaps more importantly, against, and you will see the difference. Jordan didn't play in a watered down NBA. He had Bird, Isaiah, Magic, Ewing, Drexler, Malone, Stockton, Barkley, Price, Penny and Shaq to contend with to win those titles. That's a murderers row. Brady is the greatest QB of all time, and that should not be argued, but Jordan is the GOAT and I hate that the two have been and wiil be compared. -
Is Tom Brady better than Jordan?
MiltonWaddams replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Jordan won his rings via fierce determination and competitiveness like the world has never seen. Brady is good, but the black marks surrounding him tar his legacy immensely. Jordan was a jerk, but he was phenomenal at every level. And, let's be honest, his athletic talents far surpass any qb to play the game. -
Based on his work with Stafford, I can't say I'd hate to see him on the staff. I'm finding it odd that the entire offensive staff outside of Rico has remained in place. Is that not the same thing they did to Rico? If you want a OC, who is very much going to be running his own offence, to succeed, should you not let him put a staff in place that aligns with his offensive strategy?

[POLL] Are you going to watch the Super Bowl?
MiltonWaddams replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll watch because it's tradition. I'll go in expecting the Patriots to win and if the opposite happens, I will be happy. It's a long break between games, so gotta get it in while I can. -
Pieces needed to win AFC East in 2018
MiltonWaddams replied to Tatonka68's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we should all let that mistake of the Saints game pass for the OP. In terms of the needs you have addressed, I think you are pretty much bang on. If a free agent is acquired at QB, or a trade is made, then the top two picks spend on a D tackle and a inside linebacker, would be well spent. I like Preston , But we can assuredly do better and we need better to properly implement McDermott's scheme -
Stanford RB Bryce Love Staying In School
MiltonWaddams replied to Jamie Muellers Ghost's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you've confused yourself into thinking movies are reality. This is a Stanford biology degree we're talking about. His abilities to play football will not play into the minds of potential employers because 75% of them will care less if he even played any level of football. He's a biologist not a salesman. His brain is what they will care about. -
Daboll's preferred offense and QB.
MiltonWaddams replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bradford is a good QB.... just way too fragile. If the plan is to play a vet 3 games then turn the position over to Peterman, and acquire a back-up to him as the vet is on IR the rest of the season, Bradford is the best man for the job. I'll make the assumption that is not the plan. -
Down to Four - Which Team Are You Rooting For and Why?
MiltonWaddams replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Vikings. A home Super Bowl win for a really good Fanbase. I have to root for a team like that. Also, after yesterday, it looks like this team might even have God on its side. And I never bet against God -
Very valid point. A counter-point makes for a better conversation. I am not drinking the kool aid, but I like thehire based on what I saw a young, raw team in Alabama do with a QB that had a noodle arm and was softer than a down pillow. Once he had his QB in place, things opened up and it was a juggernaut on O. Get him a middle-of-the-pack starter and I am excited. Get him a franchis QB (I'm looking at you Mr Cousins) and we are looking at a contender. Just my opinion.
