  1. So sorry to see this. Not a worse feeling in the world than losing a child. Immense prayers and condolences go out to Matt and his family.
  2. Who's going to witness this weeks "game" in Minny? Thinking a good tailgate in which I get blindly incoherent might make things more pleasant. Go Bills!
  3. I didn't pick and choose. Those were high-yardage plays that he threw poorly. Those plays both added numbers to his total More than any of his other throws. I'm as bullish on JA's prospects as anyone, but the rose coloured glasses are not to be worn. He's a talent that needs polishing.
  4. The yardage is skewed by a few big plays (Zay Jones and DiMarco come to mind) where he got lucky that it wasn't picked and had poor ball placement. You're 100% correct in both statements. The line is bad and he's going to need to make quicker reads and trust his receivers to go get the deep ball and lead them with his throws. If he doesn't he's going to lead the league in picks and incompletions really quickly.
  5. No malls for me. Maybe Nicollet Mall. Lots of good micro-breweries and eateries plus a cool stadium. I think I'll be fine up until the 15 minute mark of quarter 1.
  6. I completely am fortunate in that I have/had no expectations for this game aside from seeing a new city/stadium, eating good Scando food and drinking new craft beers. I'm now excited to watch Allen's progression.
  7. Perhaps he wanted to see what life is like as a tiny female dog in heat?
  8. Why did Vontae pull himself out if he wasn't hurt? We are in deep crap if Vontae decides to retire. 4 cbs with 2 injured....them some badddd numbers.
  9. Vontae back in! We can only hope he doesn't have another John Ross brain fart out there. We need a 2013 Vontae, but it's 2018.
  10. There is no doubt as the the like-ability of Josh, but what we should all like the most is his teammates perspective on him. The reactions to his entry into the game last week say a lot and the words of the vet leadership of the Bills throughout preseason have reflected a strong belief in his capabilities and his persona as the future franchise QB.
  11. National media stating what we all already knew. The national media covering the Bills should just hang out on TSW. They'd have faster and better takes.
  12. Raekwon Davis, DL from Bama. Probably a DE in the NFL, he's a beast.
  13. For some reason I pictured a punter receiving a kick off and kicking it right back. Still chuckling
  14. The positives of the no-huddle in a rookies first game are far outweighed by the negatives. I could handle some no-huddle mixed in, but it needs to be limited for the first half of the season. No reason to speed up a game that is already sped up so much for Allen
  15. I think what the problem is here is that the gauntlet of death is actually the entire season for a team that looks this bad
  16. Falling? I think it fell right down and crushed me yesterday. It done fell.
  17. Rob, seriously? Bust? Watch the friggin game. The guy is 20 years old and was close to being the best defensive player on the field for the Bills. I'm not certain that he should be calling the plays, but I am sure that he is far from looking like a bust. Are you just trolling?
  18. Based on the game today, would anybody here, or anywhere, really be surprised by a 0-16 season? I'm generally an optimist and I don't see much rationale for optimism as far as the 18/19 season goes. I like the future with some of the young talent that is on the roster plus the financial and draft capital that is coming the Bills way....but the outlook for this season is horrific as it stands.
  19. Another piece of the Bob Foster puzzle. So odd....
  20. And for that, I am very jealous of you sir. Safaris go where they go, so I was at their mercy. Incredible nonetheless.
  21. My time in Africa has all been Southern. Chobe is a mind-blower and Kruger, though far too busy, is incredible.
