  1. I agree that if a trade were to come available that is a positive, long-term deal, that should be explored. That being said, if this is a trade for a guy like Green who is a one-year rental, then it doesn’t really make sense. This team is not built to be short term. Players like Oliver, Edmunds and Allen were drafted to be long term pieces. With the depth at wide receiver and defensive tackle in the 2020 draft being as good as it is, trading a high draft pick for a short term piece is ridiculous.
  2. I rewatched the game last night from Sunday. I am very well aware that this is a horrible example of a game plan, but the number of times players would be open and Josh would be following his reads to not see them has to be solely placed on the way that Daboll is running the play. While your statement that the team needs more talent is 100% accurate, if we just bring in talent to the scheme, that is hardly an answer. Daboll needs to be better or he needs to go
  3. Like so many of us have alluded to, what is holding this team back has a lot to do with scheme and not talent. Daboll was a pre-season hot name in the coaching ranks. Based on what this offense has produced, there is no chance that he is even remotely a hot name now.
  4. The silence is deafening. I’m on the Derek Wolfe train as he fills a need on the field and brings leadership as well. That and I can’t see him costing as much as bigger names like Miller that are being thrown about.
  5. I’ve been inside some haunches, but my insides never have had hunches.
  6. Skipped reading 5 pages to mention Chris Godwin. Definitely a guy worth trading for
  7. Yes, and while you’re at it bring back ‘92 Jim Kelly to run our offense. I used to smoke a little bit at lunch when I was in my late teens as well.
  8. Josh’s interceptions are now both a problem and solution?
  9. It’s a good thing to get over 300 yards of offense every game of the season.
  10. Not too long ago, we would all complain about how inevitable it was for the bills to select a cornerback in the first three rounds as though it was an issue. Now, when they do it, we have nothing to complain about due to the results of guys like Gilmore and Tre. This guy’s a stud and we are fortunate to have him.
  11. Yup. Watching Aaron Rodgers makes me think of what Allen could be, but Rodgers touch is super-human.
  12. The number is skewed by drops. Beasley had two and Knox 1 that were beyond catch-able. The touch on the deep ball is a whole other story...
  13. I get that it’s risky, but why not go for the first in the air there? Controlling the ball for the rest of the game would have been wise.
  14. Allen is not faultless, but drops and play calling have been at fault as well in addition to crap defence
  15. This team deserves every boo they receive
  16. Yup. Just dropped an F bomb with that sack
  17. My internal dialogue is very bad right now. Happy the kids are playing in their room
  18. We don’t need excuses. We should be destroying this team
