    The sentiment here in the PNW is that Carroll is the Hawks coach until he retires. Despite his high energy, he’s seventy and is unlikely to coach another 5 years. That would be a massive surprise, but I know a good number of Hawks fans who would love to see a fresh start for that team.

    I wouldn’t even call them a sleeper contender. That team is extremely stacked on both sides of the ball. The only people ignoring them are media and that is because they are Cleveland and for no other reason.

    I have to imagine that it is based on the vaccination numbers and what protocols they can have in place around for vaccinated players. It’s going to get legally tricky if the NFL tries to mandate the number of vaccinated players per team.

    On the assumption that they will start allowing vaccinated Canadians into the country, I have earmarked this game for the last two years.

    Browns-Chiefs is the best game on the AFC schedule week 1. The top announcing team should do that one. Love our matchup because the Steelers are a reasonable challenge but they are not coming into the season with the momentum and offseason that KC or Cleveland has. Quite the opposite.

    Full strength this season is not impressive. No RB1, no Dupree and Big Ben in post-retirement buffet mode but still playing. The Bills should blow them out of the water.
