As we are now in the abyss that is between free agency and the draft, i figure now is as good a time as any for a far too early prediction for the 2017 season. I'm going with 9-7. Our defense will be better this year just with the Ryan Brothers gone, and our offense does what our offense does. If Sammy can stay healthy maybe 10-6 but i realistically see our first season with McDermott having a ceiling of 9 wins and no playoffs.

Agreed, we can't seem to make it two months without stories of dysfunction coming out of OBD. How well founded they are i don't know but there never seems to be a clear answer on anything. Hopefully that changes with McDermott.

i'm happy with Cardale as depth, any time a team like the Bills loses their starting QB for any length of time the season is over anyway.

Yeah Gilmore is a great one on one corner, that's why we gave up barely any huge pass plays last season. Oh wait....that's not how it went down at all is it. That said he will have an All-Pro year in New England where the corners can hug a receiver as a ball is coming down to force an incompletion.

It would be too huge for games. End of games would be decided by the officials rather than the players on the field, think about green bays hail mary, definitely a push off that went uncalled you can't have officials taking away the most exciting parts of the game. The league will never allow coaches to take away their highlight reels

If this is true i'm very dissapointed. We had a perfect chance to clean house when Rex went and the fans would have accepted it. This is why we don't win because as an organisation we are a mess. There is no plan or strategy we just seem to make decisions at the last minute.

A Friend of mine got me into the nfl ten years ago and said I should support a poor tram to then see them turn it around rather than hopping on the bandwagon of a team like the Steelers or patriots. I googled bad nfl teams and the bills were the first hit. Still waiting for that turnaround....

I feel like we always have guys like this, Easley, Goodwin being the most recent examples. Guys that will make one or two plays a season instead of one or two plays a game. I hope we get Mike Williams in the first round.

Pats already had hightower. Both Gilmore and cooks failed to have any impact on their previous teams making the playoffs so don't actually like they areally suddenly world beaters . Patriots still have bellichick that is all they need

Sure he was bad in NO but who isn't on that defense. We desperately need safety help now after releasing both of ours and while I want one in the draft if booker is gone by 10 we could be in trouble. I always loved Byrd and I think Sean can get him back to pro bowl form
