He is inconsistent and while he will win you games he will also put teams in a hole they need to dig themselves out of by throwing interceptions. Also where are you getting these numbers? He has only played in 70 games in his career and i think he's only won 43 of those....

I agree finishing strongis important, however you gave me a binary choice and i went for the option that will win more games. I'd actually much rather have a QB that just plays well all game, and that is simply not Andrew Luck.

This is why you need a decent defense as well as a good QB, to hold the lead the QB gives you. The Saints have an elite HoF QB and can't make the playoffs because their defense is swiss cheese.

That penalty is basically "touching Tom Brady". There is no doubt they get preferential treatment from the refs, we need to be about 14-21 points better than the pats with brady to stand a chance.

I;m pretty sure that for Bills fans the grading of QBs is as follows: Elite Garbage Doesn't seem to be any grey area.

Luck is good, however i do not personally but him on the same level as the "old guard" QBs such as Brees and Brady just yet.

I want to see a first team Touchdown tonight. I know you can't judge much from preseason but from season's past where we have scored 0 first team touchdowns in preseason our offense has then gone on to struggle all year.

I was wondering about this earlier this year, it would also be interesting to look at the other side of the coin and how many drives were killed by penalties. Anecdotally i feel we had an awful lot of first downs and touchdowns called back last year, and watching the SuperBowl penalties both took the falcons out of FG range and then move the Patriots down the field but again this is all anecdotal.

For a team like the Bills, who have been mediocre for so long and unfortunate enough to play in the same division as the greatest dynasty the league has ever seen, we need to be better than other teams by a large margin. This is to both overcome our own built in culture of failure and the fact that we get absolutely no breaks from the league or it's officials in games. Until Brady retires and Bellichick leaves with him we need to essentially be a 12 win team in any other division to make the playoffs, maybe better than that. This is why our recent trades don't bother me yet, we aren't a 12 win team yet but those trades may help us.

Luck along with Brees and Rivers are perfect examples of why the whole "just need a QB" crowd are dead wrong. You need a complete team and a solid coaching staff along with good fortune or cheating to get ahead in this league.
