    some people subscribe to the tank for picks strategy, I'm not 100% sure that McBeane want to make the playoffs this year.

    Serious question, i know it sounds crazy but i think personally i'd rather make the playoffs again even if we crash out in the wildcard round like last season. This team would do well from the confidence it would give and be great for Allen to start his career the right way.

    precisely, the fact the titans only had one opportunity to get a play like that is why our defense is good.

    All of this is very true, however if they are offering a 2nd round pick for a RB at the end of his career we sort of have to take it.

    Not uncommon for a rookie QB. Start simple and build from there.

    Pretty sure we're going for both. Asking Allen to be Aaron Rodgers from day 1 isn't going to develop him.

    technically this gives Allen a 4th quarter comeback. Something guys like Tyrod lacked.
