No way Bills are organized enough to get that kickoff in time.
McDermott would just now be telling the kicker to warm up.

If we were in that situation instead of making the fg, McDermott and Dorsey would still be discussing what to do as we speak.
-
Update: Sherfield's injury was due to throwing out his back when rushing a heavy container of water to the rest of the offense between plays.

It's a delightful triangle shaped pastry that can be eaten as a dessert or breakfast. It usually has a fruit filling.

McDermotts version of complimentary football. Stadium fills with air, immediately let it out in one play.
McDermott's version of complimentary football is one unit collapsing immediately after the other one gets it together.

Time for the defense to check out now.

Dorsey (returning from the bathroom after five minutes). What did I miss guys?

That's better. Now keep that up.

Josh’s Hollywood attitude isn’t Dorsey’s fault. That’s not an endorsement of Dorsey.
Yeah, because his hollywood attitude has completely shut down Dorsey's brain and turned the hands of Kincaid and Davis into stone

he's gone in the top 5
At this pace, we might only have to trade up a couple spots to get that high.

I think Ken Dorsey is also running the servers on TBD tonight.

Another injury. Welcome to the NFL 2023

If Dorsey still has a job after today, I have to assume that Buffalo is tanking.
The team has checked out.

Just give them the d**n touchdown instead of dragging it out and making us watch ten minutes of draft kings and burger king commercials.

what would be different? He will be calling the same plays
You are mistaking me as arguing for Dorsey. I would rather have him fired, but was making a choice out of the two options given in the poll. I'm not really trying to turn this into a needless debate.

I didn't see a third option for couch.
Out of the two, I would say sideline. Calling from the booth certainly isn't working, if they insists on sticking with him, at least see if he is more effective on the sidelines first.

Well, both of them have played better for other teams. What’s that tell you?Good point. Dorsey needs to go.

Watching this game reminds me the Harty was a definite downgrade from MacKenzie.

When you compare Josh Allen to the other current top quarterbacks in the league, he has the highest ceiling, but he also has the lowest floor. Unfortunately, we have seen more of the second part of that this year than we have in the past three years before. I still have faith in Allen and think that he can be a franchise QB for a few more years, but right now he is in a slump.
There is still time to turn this around, I think that the first step is letting him do what he does best with the run game and play to his strengths instead of trying to hammer a square into a round circle with Dorsey's failed schemes.

Pretty Much
McDermott=Michael Scott ->angela
Allen=Jim
Diggs=Stanley-> Kelly Kappor
Dorsey -> Michael Scott (with the NO !! NO !! NO !!)much better like this
I understand Dorsey and McDermott, but I see Diggs as stanley just for the potential of going off on Dorsey or McDermott something like this.

I think Allen is committed, but frustrated with the offense. He repeatedly said after the game "I ran what was called". That is the polite way of saying "Dorsey is a useless incompetent coach, don't blame me".
-
I understand some of your logic, but while every team has had a bad game, Buffalo has had a bad half season.
My best hope is that Josh Allen plays like the elite QB that he is capable of being and somehow carries the team on his shoulders to 9 or 10 wins and get in the playoffs, then be hot at the right time.
Right now I am not seeing it. There are too many holes and the coaches seem to have lost the players. I see 7 or 8 wins.
If they can get by Denver and the Jets and get up to 7-4, maybe I'll feel a little hope again, but right now as it stands, no remaining game is a lock.
-
The entire defense minus Von Miller deserves credit. If you had told me that they were going to hold the Bengals to 24 yesterday morning, I would have assumed that it was a win.
Nobody on the offense. I would have said Kincaid until the fumble.

I was not for firing mcdermott until that. That is grounds for instant dismissal. I have no words
