  1. I was there from about 2005 to the end. I was not a major character there, but did post more than I do here. BBMB was great in its heyday, but was going downhill fast over the last year as many long time quality posters were getting banned for no reason while a few trolls were allowed to run rampant and post the same junk every day. This board is much better for knowledgeable posters, but BBMB was definitely more entertaining at times.
  2. Just Frazier, too much invested in the defense to put up what they did yesterday. You might be able to get away with waiting for the other team to mess up against Davis Mills or Zach Wilson, but not against Burrow or Mahomes. I understand that the top tier of quarterbacks are going to move the ball against anyone, but there were times in the first half where watching the defense was like watch Ohio State or Georgia's offense against a sub 500 fcs team. 27 points on paper doesn't look that bad, but it does not tell the story. If the Bills offense had kept up pace early in the game and scored more points, Cincinnati could have easily scored 50 on us. Not acceptable. I am concerned about Dorsey too but it doesn't not help when each and every person brought in or expected to step up and fill a void did not come through( Crowder, Cook, OJ Howard, Duke Johnson etc) . One more year with the right personnel to see what he can do. Not ready to get rid of McDermott yet, because as the playoff drought proved, we can do so much worse.
  3. I am an Orioles fan for baseball and the direction that these Bills are going remind me a lot of the Orioles between 2012 and 2018. Both did a great job changing the culture of a long time losing team and added a core group of players that quickly turned them into a playoff caliber team. For the Orioles, the downfall was not having a good farm team or signing the right people to address weaknesses. When the good players lost a step or moved on, they were not properly replaced and the bottom fell out fast. I am worried about the Bills going in the same direction. When you look at the last three years, most of the players drafted or signed are not getting it done. Defensive line is where this stands out most. You cant spend a ton of money and high round draft capital on a defensive line and only end up with a deep rotation of average players. Nobody properly filled the voids of Brown and Beasley at WR so we signed the actual Brown and Beasley back despite them being past their primes. The line outside of Dawkins and Morse is a revolving door despite constantly adding veterans and drafting one or two per year. If Buffalo is going to stay on the top tier of the AFC and not regress, it starts with signing and drafting better players and finding out what changed in our talent evaluation to make it worse.
  4. I would like to keep Dane Jackson, Edmunds for the right price and Poyer if healthy. Everyone else on that list is replacable in my opinion,
  5. I would be willing to give Dorsey another year. The offense had a plan to improve from last year. Unfortunately, the players added to help change the direction did not work out. Crowder was a non factor and got hurt for the year, OJ Howard was a preseason cut, Duke Johnson never really got out of the practice squad, Cook was out produced by many other drafted running backs on different teams and Davis was not consistent enough to be a proven #2. We need to have people that better fit Dorsey's offense next year.
  6. The 2017 and 2018 draft were good, but the four years after that leave a lot to be desired. The mid to late rd picks from 2019-22 have found a few gems, but the picks in the top 2 rounds have been mediocre to bad.
  7. No offensive line support, Receivers outside of Diggs underachieving, Defense putting us in a hole before the team could get started. This is not all on Allen. Allen needs to play less hero ball next year, but Buffalo also needs to give him some help.
  8. Fair enough. Maybe sign some instead, but either way, this group needs an overhaul.
  9. Keep Von Miller, Daquan Jones and Give Rousseau another year. The rest of the defensive line is expendable and it is time for some new blood. This draft should be invested in both lines.
  10. I have to disagree. True, there is an initial intense heartbreak, but at least after that, you could have hope that they are close. This is bad enough to make you question whether that the ship has sailed with this group and whether or not an overhaul is needed.
  11. I know that Buffalo had a lot of adversity this year and that Cincinnati is a tough team, but there is no excuse for coming into a home playoff game this unprepared.
  12. If you are going to invest so much on a defensive line in a five year period, they should at least be able to show more than what four random practice squad players would probably do.
  13. In all fairness, Case Keenum could have scored 30+ on this Bills defense. Defense made it way too easy for Cincinnati today.
  14. Buffalo is the new Houston Oilers, always a playoff team never a Super Bowl contender.
  15. We live in Western New york, but our team is playing like they are wearing bowling shoes in the snow.
  16. People are wide open by 10-15 yards every other play. It looks like Georgia or Ohio State playing a sub .500 FCS team.
  17. McDermott is the Buck Showalter of the NFL. Can get a team to the playoffs but wont ever come through when it counts afterwards.
  18. I would rather listen to a team of Dick Vitale and Tony Romo with both amped up on meth for three games than Collinsworth for one.
  19. Gronk was such a logical choice in 2010 for Buffalo. Local product, desperate need for tight end. Many were projecting it, but they decided to draft Torell Troup instead. That time has passed though, and I don't see a need with who we have now. I think that Gronk will go where Brady goes next year if he decides to come out of retirement.
  20. Brady was clearly a legend and HOF quarterback. With that being said, Belichick was suspected to cheat in multiple ways during his time there and there was often those one or two questionable calls in a close game which would extend a drive or kill the opponents momentum at a key time. This was not just against Buffalo but against every other team as well. While it is true that top tier qb's get the breaks sometimes, I don't every remember, Montana, Manning, Allen or Mahomes getting nearly what Brady consistently got. That is why I cant say that he is quite the greatest of all time. I respect his ability and will probably remember the negatives less as time goes on, but I don't think that I will ever like him.
  21. The amount of commercials are ridiculous and the playoffs make me realize how much I was spoiled by being able to go to red-zone during commercials. Still not nearly enough to make me not watch, especially when the Bills are doing well. No one is forcing us to watch the commercials. Just find a backup show to watch. Usually if another football game is not available, I'll go to a college basketball game. The NFL despite its flaws is still the most enjoyable sport to me.
  22. Glass half empty-Allen has recently been off on most games compared to 20 and 21, the defense leaves the opposing offense on the field too long and the Bills often aren't playing their best football Glass half full-Buffalo has learned to win the close games, overcame an injury plagued season and are on an eight game winning streak. Taking it one game at a time
  23. Someone needs to tell Nate Peterman to bring back Trevor Lawrence.
