Maybin hands down. It was already bad enough that a few better players had fallen to us when he was picked instead. On top of being worse than many 7th rounder and UDFA's on a given year he felt the need to hold out longer than anyone the year that he was drafted. Next to Jamarcus Russell, probably was a big reason why rookie contracts were changed up a few years back. As a player, Did not try, his career never even came close to the level of a replacement level rotation player, let alone that star that people expect from a top 10 pick. After his stint with the Bills, goes on the Jets and is used by Rex Ryan as a way to taunt the bills by getting a few garbage time sacks. After his career, trashes football in general and has nothing but negative to say about the Bills. Just about every other Bill on this thread either was not on the team long term or at some point has a redeeming quality or legitimate reason for disappointing play. Not Maybin, bad on all levels.

I don't even think Rosen would be "right josh" when compared to Josh Johnson, let alone Josh Allen. The other quarterbacks in that class still have a good chance at a long career, but Rosen seems to be a close to done as a qb going into their third year can be.

I am the same way. I have been pretty apathetic when it comes to watching the playoffs besides the Super bowl over the last few years, but nothing like after the game yesterday. I'll go to a Super Bowl party and watch the game with friends for the social aspect, but I am pretty much done with football until August. At least I have Syracuse basketball to look forward to.......Oh....wait......

Hard to care now that Buffalo is gone. All of the teams left are been there done that to me, so there are no compelling stories. If I had to pick, since the Titans made the day a little better by beating the Patriots, I hope that they make a run.

This team is more complete than any Bills team has been in a long time. There are a few missing pieces between good and great. For me the needs would be. 1) Tackle-Dawkins is decent, but Ford is a turnstile. 2) Wide Receiver- Williams and McKenzie improved and are good depth, but adding a true number one to complement Brown and Beasley would open up the offense. 3) Linebacker- With Alexander gone, you have Edmonds, Milano and no one else who is proven. 4) Running back- Singletary looks like the real deal, but a good team has multiple options at running backs. Gore is not getting any younger and Yeldon is not an answer 5) Backup Quarterback. I know that there are many Barkley fans, but this position could use an upgrade. I personally think that last year's Jets game was an outlier and that what we saw from Barkley in the Patriots and Jets games this year is what we would see more of if Allen went down for a few games.

1) A true #1 receiver. Look, I get it. Brown's had an amazing year, but he clearly lacks the size necessary to compete for contested passes. Completely agree. Brown and Beasley as a one and two are adequate and much improved from what they had last year, but not ideal. As a two and three with a true #1 receiver, that would be a great group. I would imagine that this is a top priority 2) A RT that's actually capable of blocking people. Cody Ford is pretty clearly not the answer here, as was evidenced on the last series of the last drive. Ford is a disappointment, but i am not ready to call him a bust yet. If I recall correctly, Ford is better suited at guard. He looked pretty good in preseason when playing there. Feliciano is having a good year but traditionally is replacement level. I would like to see Buffalo add a true starting tackle and Have Ford compete for a guard spot next year. 3) A DE capable of creating consistent pass rush. Shaq, while having the best season of his career is clearly a second-tier kind of guy, a Ryan Denney/Aaron Schoebel type. Any team could always use an elite pass rusher, but this is not as much of a need as the other two. I doubt that Buffalo retains both Lawson and Phillips, so adding depth here with a veteran free agent or mid round picks seems to be the likely path. 4) A RB to pair with Motor. Need more size and youth at this position.- One nice thing about running back is that it is routine to get good ones in mid or later rounds of the draft. I could definitely see Buffalo adding a couple of running backs to the mix this year. I would also add linebacker depth. Alexander isn't getting any younger and Milano can be pushed around sometimes. The backups seem to be nothing more than depth and not real long term options as starters. I could see this position suddenly becoming a weakness if not addressed in the next year or two. Overall, this team is just a little bit away from being great. The needs are not as much as they have been in many others seasons.

I always hate losing to the Patriots and this loss sucks just as much as the others. My biggest comfort is knowing that even though yesterday was more of the same, that the Patriots era is on its way out and Buffalo is on its way up. This is still a playoff team and the last two losses were close ones against arguably two of the best teams in the NFL. This is still a team that is good enough to make a run in the playoffs and the optimistic side of me hopes that they learn from the Ravens and Patriots losses in the same way that they learned from their losses earlier in the year. With a little more consistency on the offense, this team can beat anyone.

I do not care for Trump, but I hate the misuse of the impeachment process even more. This is the democrats way of saying that they do not think that they have anyone who can beat Trump in 2020. Everyone knew that this would happen and also known that the senate will not allow the next step to happen. All of this time could have been spent by both parties doing something like, maybe improving the many issues in this country? We will see what happens over the next year now.

Scared enough to win 10 out of 14 games and make the playoffs. Keep in mind that Pittsburgh has tough defense that is blitz heavy. Allen who is improving rapidly but still struggles when throwing against the blitz was not great, but the offense did enough to win yesterday. He came through when needed. Not every game is going to be 300 yards and 4 touchdowns. Even Jim Kelly had some so so performances in some big Bills wins during their prime. If Josh Allen ever had the stat line that Kelly did during their 1991 championship win over the broncos, there would be ten threads calling for his release.

Two years ago was great, but this is even better since it was truly earned without help. I would love to see a division win, but doubt it happens even if we win out since I do not see Miami beating New England under any circumstance. It is likely that either Houston or KC are the first round opponent. I feel like those are games that this Bills team can win.

I found it to be funny how he suddenly changed his tune when Buffalo got the interception with two minutes left. As if we are going to forget about his bias during the first 58 minutes of the game. Sorry Cris, stay off the bandwagon, we do not want you

I almost forgot how bad he was because I've rarely watched Sunday night football over the past two years. I felt like I was listening to the Steelers radio network. I loved how he backpedaled and tried to brown nose the Bills retroactively after they intercepted it with two minutes left. Too little too late

Cris Collinsworth still thinks that game balls go to James Washington and TJ Watt. I would say White and Phillips on Defense, Brown on offense.

This was a tough loss, but one against a team that is the hottest one in the NFL for a reason. Today shows that this is a playoff team, but not a super bowl contender. I see a 12-4 caliber defense and an 8-8 caliber offense. To get to that next level in 2020, they need to have Allen continue to develop and upgrade the offense a little bit more, perhaps a couple lineman and true #1 receiver. The sky is not falling yet, and I still believe that Buffalo can finish with 10 or 11 wins.

I would also rather see Cleveland lose. They have won three in a row. If they win today, you suddenly have a 6-6 team with a 4 game winning streak, two upcoming games against Cincinnati and a tie breaker over Buffalo. Pittsburgh would be 7-5 if they win, but we still play them and I like the odds of winning that. Earlier in the year, I would have counted a game in Pittsburgh as a loss, but I do not see either Rudolph or Hodges being able to do very much against the Bills Defense. Pittsburgh beating Cleveland and then losing to Buffalo is a scenario that would officially guarantee that Buffalo finishes ahead of both.

Great overall read which summarized the game very well. One thing that I love about this team is that they learn from their mistakes. Patriots loss-Allen was making too many turnovers from playing hero ball, his play calling was adjusted and they dialed his offense down until he got more comfortable. Minimal turnovers since Eagles loss-Gashed on the run defense and dominated all day y the Eagles offense. Cut Peko, Added Taylor and Liujet in order to improve depth, made adjustments on their defense. Since then, the run defense has improved an the defense had gone back to their top form. Browns Loss-Coaching cost them, terrible play calling. Daboll moved to the booth, Allen was allowed to open things up again. The result is that Allen has has by far his most complete three games since. Baltimore will be a tough one, mainly because they are the best team currently and have been dominating playoff caliber teams. Even with that game, I like their chances to get 11 or maybe even 12 wins. This should be a fun end to the season.

I personally think it should be the rest of the season at least. It is hard to say what will really happen. NFL is very inconsistent. If he had done that to Brady, he would have been suspended for a year, If he had done that to Josh Allen, the punishment would have just been a 500 dollar fine and a 15 yard penalty offset by a holding call. Pittsburgh is a little higher in Goodell's pecking order, so I will predict 4 games. Sorry for sounding cynical, I am just annoyed with how the NFL has no rhyme or reason behind their discipline

I want to be optimistic, the team is still 6-3 and there is more talent on the team than there has been in awhile. I just feel like the main problem is that the coaching gets in it's own way. Half of me wants to say "relax, the rest of the schedule isn't bad, we will get back on track over the next two weeks and get 10-11 wins. The other half of me remembers 2008 and 2011, sees Miami currently ahead of Indy late in the game and generally being competitive over the last four weeks and gets a horrible sinking feeling that makes me not want to even watch the game next week.

I get that Taylor replaced Peko who was not performing well after Harrison Phillips got hurt, and that Liuget was signed to the team this week. McDermott always rotates defensive lineman. Taylor and Liuget were upgrades over Peko and likely intended to address the running issues exposed in the Eagles game. Oliver and Lawson are already taken out on some plays, this does not mean that Oliver or Lawson were getting benched or reduced time. I would think that if anyone was getting a cut in playing time, that it would be Star.

I was worried about the Browns having the talent to catch us off guard next week, but between this and the cleat incident, they may be too much of an internal mess.

If i had to guess, Cleveland would be the one most likely to win. Winning two out of three would put them at 8-3. Pittsburgh and Dallas are talented but inconsistent. I could see Buffalo beating either Pittsburgh or Dallas but do not see them either winning or losing both. Baltimore and New England on the road would be tough and likely losses. It will be a tough stretch no matter what and 1-3 seems very realistic. This would put us at 9-6 The Jets are a train wreck, they will likely be in preseason mode for the game with players auditioning for jobs, that should be a win for Buffalo barring a disaster. 10-6 with a wild card. Maybe a first round exit, but you never know when a wild card team can make a playoff run.

I do not think that this was overly negative, the concerns are valid ones that will need to be addressed by the time that the tougher games come around. Despite the 2-1 record, the team has not been the same over the three games after the bye week. They are lucky that two of the games were against bottom five teams. Today, I feel like the play calling and coaching was at fault instead of the actual players. It was good enough today but may not be in later games if Buffalo is not careful. A couple of other thoughts -The run defense looks good swarming a run when stopping the back, but if the back get past first contact, no one is anywhere near them and that allows a 10-20 yard run. Philly was the first team that exposed this and was able to do it for the entire game. Today, AP wasalso doing this for awhile when showing flashes of his old self, but did not have the stamina anymore to do that 15-20 times. I worry about what Chubb who will be the best back that we have faced this year might be able to do against this D next week. -I was disappointed when a defensive lineman or linebacker was not added during the trade, but replacing Peko with Taylor from the practice squad was a definite upgrade. Taylor was not getting pushed around like Peko was and made a few nice tackles at key times. I still see a 10 or 11 win team, but if they lose to Cleveland next week, I will start to worry a bit.

Not pretty at times, but the run defense made adjustments after getting gashed in the second quarter and pretty much shut AP down in the second half. I blame the play calling more than the players on offense. When the season started, I thought that Buffalo would need to be 6-2 to have a real shot at the playoffs, they have done that. I feel like the bills are getting outcoached by themselves sometimes. That very same play turned the momentum towards the Eagles last week and came very close to giving the Redskins a shot at tying the game. This is an improved offense from last year, but still one that is average at best with a young QB and nine starters that were not on the team last year. There is no excuse for calling so many trick plays with an offense like that and I'm worried that it will eventually cost us in a key game
