The biggest gripe people will have is that nearly 40% of the rushing is done by our QB. He attributed 770 yards out of 2210 total rush yards this year. Situationally it’s fine of course, but our lead rusher Singletary had only 100 more yards than Josh. Honestly i just wish we could execute runs when needed by the guys employed to do so. Devin has looked great this year when he can be consistently used. Moss hasn’t been the same back since his injury last year (something I think people gloss over or forget entirely). Despite his 4.6 YPC, nobody fears Singletary. I’m not sure why he isn’t more heavily involved, but I suspect it may do with his butterfingers he has the previous 2 years. We all know McD hates fumbles. Moss is like Frank Gore was for us… if you need 2 yards, he will get 2 yards. If you need 4 yards, he will get you 2 yards. He won’t fumble though! Breida is there. That’s about it.

The best ability is availability. Barkley hasn’t been available much in the last few years. When healthy, like CMC, he can be a game changer, but both of them are just not durable. I wouldn’t trade anything for them, but if I had to consider it absolutely nothing higher than a 6th if we were desperate to kick the tires. I’d rather give a rookie a chance (even a lower drafted one) rather than an unfortunate known quantity.

As mad as I am about the missed PI, I needed Wilson to score less than 6 fantasy points in my league to make the finals. Between that missed PI and the interception I’m on my way to the finals.

Because you are wrong. Case in point: Tennessee game. Rather than kick the FG and play conservative he put the ball in Josh’s hands and came up short. It happens sometimes. McD was “conservative” in the Bucs game when faced with a similar situation because 2 yards is not a gimme against the Bucs D and we just got hosed on a no-call PI. Kick the FG and fight on. The Giants need to clean house top to bottom. Gettleman needs to go, and their coach too most likely. If their HC stays he may have a hand in selecting the GM- but has he warranted any trust at this point? His team is garbage and not getting better under his leadership. Also, depending on the QB class coming up, they have to seriously evaluate Danny Dimes future. We see the difference in a QB who’s rough around the edges and a bad line and what he can do. Danie Jones hasn’t shown a fraction of what Josh did. Even as a rookie with the worst line in the NFL Josh mustered at least 6 wins out of that team. I don’t think DJ could pull that off, and he has way more weapons than Josh did that year. That being said, rookie contract. If next year is a good QB class you roll Dan out there one more year and hope you get in position to get top talent.

Well that’s a relief, because he doesn’t do much as it is. 207 yards and a TD/INT like he did Thursday won’t beat Buffalo. Recently he had less than 140 yards vs Carolina, less than 200 vs the Browns, and put up a goose egg against the Chargers - the only reputable team NE has faced over the last 5 weeks. The only reason NE is doing well is the defense.
