P*triots place projected starting RT Riley Reiff on IR
KingBoots8 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Zappe returning to the team as their new RT probably. I mean, if a defensive coordinator can call their offense, a backup QB should know how to protect the starting QB riiiiiiiiiight? -

Eli Apple has bounty placed on him by angry ex-girlfriend
KingBoots8 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently Eli doesn’t condone either. …wait, I read that wrong. He doesn’t “condom” - my bad. -
They should have got Thurman to join in and he could have lost his helmet. ”No way, not again!!”
-
He did well in camp- I could definitely see his name called up a few times. Hope he makes the best of his opportunities and can be productive. Glad to see he stayed with us

This I could see, but I’m not sure how much we are looking at guard at the moment. Definitely a depth type player and the experience certainly helps. Might find a better offer on a team like the Rams but I think they just traded for someone

Connor McGovern Injury ????????????????

Whew, I got worried we weren’t going to have a ton of question marks in the title. Now I am relieved. ¿ -
If you were the #1 overall draft prospect as a Junior
KingBoots8 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hard to say, if the team wants you bad enough they’ll make the move to get you. If I’m in a position to make generational wealth? I’ve got to put my needs first. If all goes according to plan I have my agent find me a way to the team after I play out my rookie contract. If I’m gonna go #1 overall, I’m gonna take it. There’s more to just being that pick- the advertising, the name recognition, the sponsorships, etc. I’d do what I had to do, and barring something unforeseen I’m gonna find my way to the Bills if they’ll have me. -
Titatn's Caleb Foley's house explodes!
KingBoots8 replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is awful. Lost his father in the accident too… idk if I could even rebuild there if it was me. Straight up relocate entirely. Not that it does much, but I hope for the best for this kid. What a tragedy. -
O’Cyrus Torrence Dominating (video breakdown)
KingBoots8 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could see a potential trade or a pickup from cuts around the league coming in to compete. Doc clarified he was joking. It’s hard to tell around here some days lol 😂 -
O’Cyrus Torrence Dominating (video breakdown)
KingBoots8 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, but then you wouldn’t have Kincaid. He jumped Dallas who was salivating at the chance of getting him. Did you see their draft room when we got him? They looked dejected and upset as hell. -
O’Cyrus Torrence Dominating (video breakdown)
KingBoots8 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly don’t know how he fell to 59, but I’m glad we were able to capitalize on that and bring him in. I was thinking he’d go around late 30s - early 40s. My other favorite guard out of this years class was Steve Avila (who can play anywhere in the middle of the OL). He’s gonna be a star if he shows up on gameday when it matters. I actually think we have a solid foundation for the middle of the OL right now. Tackle is where things are getting messy - Dawkins underperformed and Brown needs to make some major improvements quickly to avoid losing his job. McGovern, Morse, and Torrence are going to do well. I think we let Morse walk next year and insert Bates into the staring Center position and it won’t be a major downgrade. A major investment is needed to keep Josh upright- I’d prefer a known commodity if we can afford it, but we need to draft a Tackle next year early. MLB is the other major position of need but I’d rather get the line figured out first. Best way to win is to score more points, and the best way to do that is to get Josh all the time he needs. Hopefully we get it sorted out and both Dawkins and Brown step up their game. I could see maybe even getting a LT upgrade and moving Dawkins back to RT for a year if needed. -

Aaron Schatz picks the Bills and 49ers in the Super Bowl

Think it would have to be Bills - Vikings. Someone finally gets theirs, the other goes 0-5. Ultimate victory, ultimate defeat. -

Valid point! Haha I truly do appreciate his work, it just threw me off reading it a few times throughout the update.

"Q Collar" being worn by 2 Bills players
KingBoots8 replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall

I love reading these, but I have to ask why he mentions “catch of the day” so many times. I feel like it should be used once. “All these plays are great, but in my opinion the catch of the day belongs to __________.” Makes more sense than saying it 4+ times and being left to think it over.
