I think you’d have to draft one currently as we can’t sink an excessive amount of money to a backup position due to cap limitations. If Josh misses a week or two we might survive, but any sort of long-term absence is a nail in the seasonal coffin. Better to suck and get a good draft out of it than finish with 8 wins and miss both the playoffs and elite draft talent. We’ve gotta win the Super Bowl this year first, so we can worry about this in April 😏

I have a feeling DaQuon might stay here. Buffalo is closest to his home in the Southern Tier and the team seems to be a good fit. I can’t say much but I work in the same building as a family member of his and she says he loves it here. I *might* have known he was coming back a few days before it was public but was sworn to secrecy. Beane will likely have to make a choice between Floyd and AJE. One is great but getting older, the other is having a solid contract year. Both are great this season, but the risk/reward is hard to gauge. Rousseau will get his 5th year option worst case scenario. I am confident once we can shake some old contracts we can get him paid. Like it or not we are paying for Von next year, so we have to hope he is back to his normal standard of playing. Not getting out of his contract until after next season to minimize his cap hit.

He has been since day one. McD also knows his seat will be in flames if we miss the post season. Everyone needs to perform/coach to their absolute best going forward, Brady is capable, but he may not be the best answer out there. He has 5 more games this year to show he deserves to keep his job. He needs to make sure he actually gets 5 games to keep what he has. I won’t judge him until we see how he does under some bright lights. They were bright when he took the job, but we need to pull of some major wins, and our opponents are gonna feel that pressure and motivation too.

This upcoming draft has to put WR as the top priority. Say what you will about Diggs (I don’t think he magically fell off a cliff mid-season, I think he’s working past an injury we aren’t aware of personally) but at some point will slow down and settle into a WR2/Slot type of player. We need speed, size, and a menace on the outside. Shakir I feel is a very good option at #3 and Kincaid has great hands. Not sure if he’s ever gonna rack up a ton of YAC but he will be trusted to catch when it’s thrown his direction. I’m not sure who will be there at 32 (fingers crossed 🤞) but there’s a precedent to find our future WR connection with Josh sooner than later. There is a lot of talent at the position this year, and god help the league if we hit on a top-tier WR.

Josh Allen - even with a weak passing performance he got 2 TD’s and converted all of his short yard rushes. Douglas - Need I say more? He won this game. Sam Martin - 3 punts in the 10 helped keep us in this. Glad to see him have a good performance after struggling in mid season. Diggs, Kincaid, and Shakir - each player made some good catches today, with Kincaid getting the biggest of the bunch. They can share this one (and congrats to DK breaking the Bills rookie catch record)

Considering he’s not even a WR that is impressive as hell. He’s gonna be really special here I feel.

Gonna be hard to move in the draft to replace him. They have a 1st and a 3rd. Their second rounder went to New Orleans, and they traded one of their two 3rd rounders with Seattle in last years draft to select CB Riley Moss

barf. Don’t torture yourself and look up Taylor’s stat line for that game vs the Jags.

They also had to trade for him from the Saints as he was still under contract there. The Saints got a 1st in 2023 and a 2nd in 2024 in exchange for Payton and a 2023 3rd rounder.
