That game was about as bad as London was last year for us.
-
But why are you doing it in a thread about a Safety we just drafted? 😂

Your favorite moment / game of the old core of players

I took my father to this game (vs the Panthers I believe) and that throw was jaw dropping - just a touch out of bounds but my lord I had never seen someone just effortlessly launch a ball that far that fast. My dad and I looked at each other like “how is that even possible?” We knew he was special right then and there. Also, it was the only game I’ve gotten to take him to, and he likely won’t be able to go to a regular season game. That game/night was very special to me for a lot of reasons. Might need to update my top-5 -

My top-5 are as follows: 1. The first 59:47 of the Bills Chiefs Divisional Game 2. Bills Playoff destruction of NE / Josh’s best game 3. Bills / Dolphins 2019 (Micah Hyde Onside Kick) 4. Dallas Thanksgiving game 5. The Pats game after the Hamlin incident -

I thought we’d go for Crum at 248 personally -

Pretty sure at his age he has slowed down a bit. Still might make the team lol -

I suspect Bills pick Gabe Hall at 204, and either a CB or G at 219 -
Rd 5, Pick 168: Edge Javon Solomon, Troy

Given the work they did on him this is not a surprise pick. I am surprised he didn’t go earlier to be honest. Can’t hate on that at all. I saw him as a late 4th/early 5th -

Not sure about you but I would be ok if we picked 32 next year personally -

LB depth is not a bad thing to have given how thin we got last year. Wish we got Kamara but such is life. -

VPG lasted longer than I thought he would. A good get for sure. -
Makes sense I guess. Wish Bishop could keep 8 personally.
-
I think he wore it in college at some point though so at least it makes some sense i suppose. He’s not getting 4 from Cook that’s for sure. Also, I thought 24 was Elam’s number but maybe he changed it this offseason and I forgot. Would have loved him to wear 8 personally.

Bishop will be better. Let them have our scraps for once. -
A very good value pick tbh. Kid is a beast. That being said, I am surprised Estime is not drafted yet personally. Gurrendo just went and I was high on him as well (saw him as an early 5th)

Winners and Losers from the first round (Non-Bills)
KingBoots8 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
the worst part of all this is that they’re likely gonna get hit hard for tampering to even GET Cousins the way they did. Most likely a loss of some sort of draft capital, meaning even fewer chances to draft a high impact guy to complete their roster next year. Absolutely insane to me given what they are paying Cousins and what they stand to lose by tampering. -
He’s not even that fast. Rashee Rice can go 120mph 😂
-
If we still “get our guy” and got extra picks as a bonus I think that’s a very good outcome. I would be fine trading back yet again from 33 if the right offer came by. If we somehow get another late 3rd and have 4 top-100 picks I think that’s about as good as we could expect. We have our biggest holes at WR, DE, DT, and S. Go get Franklin/McConkey/Mitchell, whichever Edge is left, Jenkins, and Bishop and tell me that is a bad day 2.

Do You Like What Beane Did in the First Round?
KingBoots8 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally I am fine with the trade backs. Not in love with KC being the benefactor, but consider: a. He likely would have fallen to them at 32 unless someone jumped them b. We didn’t have a high enough grade on a little WR to take him ourselves c. Less picks for KC isn’t a bad thing d. We now have 3 picks today Anyone whining about “ThE fIfTh YeAr OpTiOn” should realize if you draft someone who is good enough for a second contract you are paying them before year 4 starts. If they aren’t good enough you will let them walk (Gabe Davis). By doing what we did we position ourselves at 33 to either have whomever we covet still or we make more trades to the right buyer. We have more needs than just WR and getting that third and fifth are going to position us to get more impact players in a draft where the talent is going to dry up quickly after the 4th round. There are still at least 3 WR’s I have good grades on waiting for us today
