  1. In a mentorship role and backup capacity, I love this. Draft a CB in the first 3 picks and let Tre take him to Goalie school. still a bit pricey though…
  2. 100% agree - we wanted someone with experience to help give Josh a trusted receiver. With a rookie you have no real idea if the game is too big for them. The other thing I see all the time is people act like it was Diggs for Jefferson - it wasn’t. It was Diggs for pick # 22, and a few day 3 picks. Had the Eagles drafted JJ instead of Reagor we would have been begging to go get a guy like Diggs. Eagles screwed up (a rarity in the draft lately) and JJ fell to the Vikings. (The thought of JJ being on that team is terrifying lol). We got an experienced starter to help Josh grow, Vikes got a rookie who could rely on Kirk Cousins to get the ball to him. Both teams technically won and got what they needed, but yeah the a Vikings just happened to have a generational talent fall to 22. If Diggs could keep his ego/attitude/mouth from getting locker rooms to hate him we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Edited to add: As for Hendrickson, he is worth a day 2 pick but I don’t know how we could afford him. I think we explored the option, got his price tag, and decided to extend our own players instead.
  3. Ideally I think we go DT at 30, CB/WR at 56 and 62. Obviously it depends who is there but I’m thinking it shakes down like that. If not WR I could see Edge or Safety, but if someone like Higgins is there at 56 you run to the podium and grab Porter at 62
  4. Garrett: I want out. I need to play for a competitor. Browns: how about a truck full of money? Garrett: Still not enough. Browns: …what if we also bring Flacco back in April? Garrett: GIMME A PEN!! LET’S GOOOO
  5. I played in a youth soccer league and wore #8 before LJ was alive. I am suing him now as well. I also wore 4 and 12, so those are mine too. …pay James Cook so I can get some of that money 😘
  6. lol. See ya soon Stef
  7. Eh, I don’t want them getting back to a SB for a loooooong time, especially if breaking that streak means means WE wouldn’t be in it.
  8. I have a feeling about Higgins. I think at 62 he is an option if he’s there. Maybe 56 if there’s a run on WR. Ricky white in the 5th would be fine too
  9. It depends how the draft falls, but I think we go DI/DE first pick, then round 2 is where we take a gander at who is left. Jayden Higgins strikes me as a potential target that range - he has the measurables and plays an X-receiver role. He’s a touch slower than I’d like (4.47 40 yard time) but he’s 6’4” and I just have a gut feeling about him. I am positive Golden is gone before we draft round 1, and can see quite a few more taken in the middle of round 2.
  10. 8 is my favorite number, so I am happy someone that isn’t a punter is wearing it (not counting Moorman)
  11. Flag: false start As a result of the play that negatively impacts the Chiefs, the Bills will be penalized 3 1st rounders, and a forced trade with KC in the next 2 drafts of 2nd round picks The Patriots have also been awarded a 3rd round pick, as is tradition
  12. Making space for another extension maybe?
  13. Meh. I don’t hate this as we need bodies in the secondary but we should 100% be looking for an upgrade in the draft.
  14. Put him in a bubble and let him loose in December - February
  15. A 1 year deal at $12m is not bad. If he stays healthy he is a disruptor. Let’s fortify in the draft and go from there. Beane After Dark strikes again
