Josh Allen - DNP Wednesday Practice Designation
BuffBillsForLife replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Just got here" lmao -
It is unfortunately true that Allen's turnovers are unfairly held in worse regard than turnovers by other QBs, e.g., Mahomes. But it's also true that Allen does in fact turn the ball over too damn often, and "arm punts" and tipped balls are just excuses fans make. If Miami finishes strong it presents an interesting dilemma for MVP voters. QB usually gets it automatically, but if Tyreek really does hit 2k yards how can it go to Tua over him? But at the same time how can it go to a WR when a QB needs to get the ball to them in the first place?

What would this board's reaction have been if Beane traded Elam for a conditional 2025 7th rounder?

Week 9 thread - We’re on to Cincinnati
BuffBillsForLife replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
A Bengals win this week would also really put the Bills in a bind. They would have 4 conference losses having already lost to NYJ and NE in their division. This game is huge for both teams. -
Week 9 thread - We’re on to Cincinnati

The Bengals acted with class and then got screwed by the league, I can't blame them for being unhappy about it. -
Chiefs v Dolphins in Frankfurt Germany
BuffBillsForLife replied to Aussie Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall
In theory it doesn't matter, Bills play both of them and thus can have the tiebreaker over both. So I would say root for the Chiefs to make the division easier to win. Rooting for the #1 seed at this point is silly, especially since we're a game behind Baltimore for it right now and don't play them. -
Giants Jets game - Daboll's call to attempt a FG
BuffBillsForLife replied to BillsIsrael's topic in The Stadium Wall
I personally would have gone for it but kicking the FG wasn't the wrong decision either imo. Letting Wilson turn into Joe Montana at the end was the real problem. -
Elephant in the room. Damar Hamlin
BuffBillsForLife replied to JohninMinn.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Damar is in fact not very good. But if you're going to carry a guy on the 53 just because of optics having him be your 4th safety isn't bad. -
He was better last night than in the previous 3 games, that's for sure. His (almost) sack of Baker was pretty good.

Never thought I’d say this. Sean McDermott is a stupid coach.
BuffBillsForLife replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD has had less playoff success than Rex Ryan with Mark "Butt Fumble" Sanchez at QB who had 2 AFCCG appearances. At some point I no longer care about 12+ wins in the regular season if it just ends in dismal failure in the playoffs. -

BuffBillsForLife replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD won't be fired this season even if they completely implode and lose every game for the rest of the year. It would take multiple seasons of utter disaster. Enjoy Marvin Lewis 2.0 for the next 10 years. -
Bills vs Tampa Bay. On to Week 8
BuffBillsForLife replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
We also lost that game so let's not try to emulate it TOO much... -
Falcons cut Eli Ankou: OFFICIAL Signed to Bills PS
BuffBillsForLife replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can't be any worse than Ford. The Bills should have a team policy of never signing anybody with the last name "Ford".- 103 replies

The Dalton Kincaid rookie of the year campaign begins on thursday.

I for one am looking forward to the new, increasingly ridiculous title for the "Josh Allen MVP" topic.

How Good is Josh Allen Really?
BuffBillsForLife replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen has possibly the greatest combination of arm talent and size in a QB ever. When he's on, he's unstoppable. But he also seems prone to the jitters in high pressure situations or primetime games which causes him to make very bad decisions on the field. Although his "deer-in-the-headlights" look has declined in frequency over the years, whenever it shows up I start drinking heavily. Basically, if we played all of our games at 1pm on Sundays we would go 17-0. -
Julio is a physical freak in the mold of TO but got completely derailed by injuries, a shame.
-
It was vintage Tyrod, playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

I mean, okay? As far as I can tell Cook and Murray seem perfectly capable of carrying the load with Harris out. Seems like a waste of cap space when we desperately need guys on D, particularly at 1T.

In retrospect, was letting McKenzie go a mistake?
BuffBillsForLife replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only mistake was not letting him go sooner. Harty might not be it but lil dirty certainly wasn't either. -
Taron should have had PI called on him too for a 2nd untimed down but luckily did not. It feels like the Bills rarely win the ugly ones so I'll take it.

Will we learn anything the next three weeks?
BuffBillsForLife replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD's Bills have been very good at obliterating bad teams, so if that doesn't happen over the next few weeks I'll start to worry. -
Another Trade Target - Harrison Phillips - Minnesota Vikings
BuffBillsForLife replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Horrible Harry is the definition of a JAG but Bills fans loved him because of Kyle. Who Phillips had nothing to do with besides playing on the same team.
