  1. As long as it doesn't impact his ability to take snaps it should be fine.
  2. Whatever benefit the titans get from extra rest for players with minor or lingering injuries is massively outweighed by not even being able to use their facilities, to say nothing of how most of the players who tested positive likely won't be cleared to play against the Bills. The actual concern with this game is the bills catching corona from the titans.
  3. Blue on white is the best imo, I don't know why we're becoming like the cowboys and wearing white when possible.
  4. A point system with the points (slowly) decaying over time is the best system imo. Politics and corona discussion deserve whatever the maximum number of points is; this is a football message board, I highly doubt anyone comes here to talk about corona when they're inundated with it in the rest of their lives.
  5. I was a Lamar doubter for the longest time, but the kid can ball. He's like the best possible version of Kaep and the reigning MVP, it's silly to say his era has ended after one bad game. Personally I wouldn't build my offense around the run game like the Ravens have and am much happier to have Allen and a strong passing attack, but come on.
  6. I would normally agree but Allen and Darnold are BFFs
  7. If I were voting for MVP today, I would have to go with Wilson with Allen a close second. To me it will come down to how the teams look at the end of the year. If Wilson and Allen have similar statistical seasons but one team is 12-4 and the other is 10-6, it's going to go to the guy on the 12-4 team. Having any sort of conversation about this in week 3 is ridiculous though, especially since the last two MVPs haven't even played their third game yet!
  8. I'm terrified of them running the ball down our throats all game, gonna have to have a hot start and put them in catchup mode most of the game.
  9. What a weird exception to the rule. If I had to guess I would assume the reason it's like that is because sacks are big impact plays and league wants as many of them as possible to stand for marketing purposes.
  10. Glad to see the NFL getting its annual tie out of the way early
  11. Kroft stepped up big today, hopefully he can firmly establish himself as TE1 while Dawson "Stone Hands" Knox sits on the bench.
  12. A rising tide lifts all boats, so they say. Here's to keeping the passing success going in week 3!
  13. This board would have gone absolutely nuclear if we had paid Robert Woods 16m+/yr
  14. Big nickel the entire game with Neal, here we go.
  15. Dan Fouts put up those numbers in the 70s when it was significantly harder for a QB to have great stats and made first team all pro multiple times. I would argue that he was the first heavy passing volume "modern" QB and absolutely deserves to be in the HoF. Bledsoe played in a gentler era with only one second-team all pro, which HoF voters care quite a lot about. Bledsoe was never dominant in his era like Fouts was.
  16. Unless I'm mistaken the Panthers still own his rights so we'd have to trade for him like the bucs did for Gronk.
  17. Are there any ex-Carolina free agent LBs on the market?
  18. NFL app, but only if you have verizon for your cell service.
  19. Great value for probably our best player. Like others have said I'm extremely happy we got his deal done before Ramsey got paid. Sadly I feel like this means there's no way we pay Milano now, at least not a number that he would accept.
  20. How is this even a topic? The merger might have never happened had Namath not won that superbowl and the AFL might have folded like every other NFL competitor. And throwing for 4000 yards in 1967 is insane. You can go on about NYC team, fur coats, boastful guarantee if you want but Namath absolutely deserves to be in the HoF.
  21. Wow, crazy. He was never a favorite of mine but he was one of the most prominent figures in Bills media.
  22. There are going to be a lot of soft tissue injuries this year I fear...
  23. The Jets are always the team besides the Bills I think about the most, our situations are so similar and I find myself comparing our position groups and development. Definitely think the Bills have the leg up now, what a blessing a competent GM and head coach are.
  24. I would never give big money to a non-pass rushing OLB, that's just insane when LB is one of the easiest holes to plug in the draft. If I'm backing up the brinks truck for a LB it's going to be Edmunds, and no way am I paying two linebackers north of $30m/yr combined. I thank him for all of his hard work and hope he gets that well-earned payday somewhere, but he can't take up that much cap space when we have to extend Tre White to a mega deal next year and then Edmunds and Allen (who will hopefully deserve his own mega deal) the year after that. You can't keep everyone you draft, but WANTING to is a sign of being a good drafter.
  25. There are no guarantees in football, so if I make the playoffs odds are I won't win the superbowl, and if I pick #1 odds are he won't be a HoF QB. As long as my roster is good give me the playoffs.
