  1. No excuses anymore, get that W
  2. He's not. And I don't know about you but I don't really think two first round exits is much to hang your hat on when you're talking about a franchise that's been around for 60 years. He certainly has the team trending in the right direction but let's wait a few more seasons before we crown him king.
  3. Romo is the best, no contest.
  4. Switching to college OT would really mess with point and TD statistics, which I don't believe the NFL really wants to do. Also it can take a while to finish.
  5. The dolphins were successful with Fitz, switching to Tua now is a massive risk. And I will never count the Pats out until they have 10 losses.
  6. Beat the Pats next week to put us 3.5-4.5 games ahead of them in the division depending on if they win/lose today and go from there.
  7. The fact that the Bills failed to find another big fat space eater 1 tech to replace Star after he opted out is a black mark. Philips was never going to be able to play full speed coming off that ACL this year and Oliver is too small for the role. There should be several of these guys floating around on practice squads like Snacks is in Seattle. They don't have to be able to rush the passer, DTs who can do that aren't on practice squads, but help in the middle would definitely help our DEs get home.
  8. Teams almost never care about making seemingly bad trades with the other conference. They aren't competing for playoff spots with them, and they only play that team once every four years unless both make the superbowl. And if they're meeting in the superbowl obviously the trade worked out for both sides.
  9. McDermott is way too conservative of a coach to go for 2 there, and the Texans lost literally the day before by playing to win the game going for 2 when they didn't need to instead of kicking a PAT. I can see the logic for going for 2, especially with Bass being shaky (or Bojo not knowing how to hold), but in that situation you go for 1 unless your kicker got carted off the field earlier.
  10. I trust the process to give up 8ypc...
  11. McDermott probably has as much rope as any coach in the league not named Bill Belicheck or Andy Reid. His job is 100% secure, but the fanbase is going to eat his face if we choke against the Jets (which they absolutely should not).
  12. Thanks for making this post, I'll get started on telling all sports fans around the world that they can't ever criticize players on their favorite team because they have a slower 40 yard dash time and can bench fewer reps than those players. Being sometimes unhappy with the play of a player/a whole team is part and parcel of being a fan. Also making disparaging comments about posters while telling them not make disparaging comments about players is something else.
  13. Yikes, when was the last time Bill Belicheck lost to a kicker?
  14. If Smoke, Milano, and Tre are all back I don't think this game is unwinnable. I don't know how much Moss helps the run game but he can't hurt.
  15. I would absolutely love this if it happened, but there's no way he gets traded within the division and I'm sure the jets would want too much.
  16. I mean sure why not, but also why? I'm sure there's at least one closeted gay player in the NFL, are they trying to bait him into coming out or something for marketing purposes?
  17. I bet he's glad he still has his job, it was a close shave.
  18. Great news for the league. False positives should get a 3rd test though to make extra sure imo.
  19. I heard the league has the stadium for the superbowl reserved for all of february. The worst case scenario would be shoving bills @ titans in as the lone week 18 game giving us no rest for the playoffs.
  20. Hurricane Goodell about to hit Nashville as a category 5...
  21. I feel like a more accurate player comparison for Favre to make would have been, y'know, himself.
  22. Assuming his play stays at around the same level for the rest of the season, expect him to sign a deal at least as valuable as Watson's after this season. Anyone talking about how he should take a "hometown discount" can use their time machines to go back to when Ralph was alive and running the team.
  23. A bubble would never have worked with 1500+ players and a million staff. But there were obvious things they could have done like giving every team a 2nd bye week for more rescheduling flexibility in case of an outbreak like we're seeing right now with the Titans, or an extra week between week 17 and the playoffs for the same purpose. If the Bills/Titans game ends up getting postponed past week 5, what do they do with it? They already moved the titans bye week to this week. The league was hesitant to even postpone titans/steelers until monday or tuesday when titans players first tested positive. It just seems like they're burying their heads in the sand as much as possible, hopefully I'm misreading the situation.
