The NFL doesn't need a lottery because the bust rate for NFL players is sky high. In the NHL and NBA if you're picked #1 overall you're very likely to be an all-star.

I'm conflicted because I would love to see the Dolphins miss the playoffs but they would be the easiest possible wildcard matchup for the Bills.

Gameday Bills vs Pats* Postgame Thread

Fire Daboll and cut Knox. -
I absolutely cannot stand Collinsworth. He has an admitted anti-Bills bias, he pushes PFF on everyone, and he rides the jock of every single player on the field every play. He's actually decent at analyzing plays but I just don't care. Somewhere in a better timeline Tirico and Romo are a broadcasting team together and I'm happy.

Coincidence? You be the judge. Take note Daboll... 2019 at Houston, AFC Wild Card Josh catches a TD pass from John Brown, Bills suffer epic collapse in the 2nd half and lose in OT 2020 at Arizona, week 10 Josh catches a TD pass from McKenzie, we all know how this one ends... 2021 at Tennessee, week 6 Josh catches a 2-PT conversion pass from Dawson Knox, later gets stuffed on 4th down to end the game

9 AFC teams above .500 10 weeks into the season and another 3 at .500, absolutely insane. The NFL is definitely going to get all of the playoff seeding mania it craved when it expanded to 7 playoff teams and 17 games.

Trubisky to covid 19 list; Davis Webb elevated from PS
BuffBillsForLife replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can Davis Webb beat the lowly JAGs? Hopefully we aren't about to find out. -
Those were the somewhat oddly-named offensive 1-pt safety though, which still results in the offense scoring 7 points on a TD. AFAIK the defensive 1-pt safety has never been scored in either college or the NFL because there's only one even remotely plausible way it could happen, although it's still in the rules. And the defensive version is the only way to end a football game with 1 point.

End of an era.

For the love of god don't put it downtown, the traffic jam would last until tuesday. The infrastructure can barely handle the daily commute. Build it across the street from the current one. I would prefer a dome but it's not a dealbreaker, the important thing is that they don't cheap out and build it 50 feet underground this time. THAT'S what causes the swirling winds that make it awful to play at. Open air stadiums work fine in cold cities, e.g., Green Bay, Pittsburgh, KC, NE.

What are your thoughts on Ed Oliver?

Is this the year Poyer finally makes the pro bowl? Here's hoping...

Bills after long rest past 3 years
BuffBillsForLife replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills' fortunes in the playoffs depend on two things: our O-line finding it within themselves to not be a sieve, and Josh not getting too hyped up. Extra rest is good after another 11 weeks of very large men running into our own very large men. -
Shaq Lawson’s First Ever INT was a big one
BuffBillsForLife replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shaq was great at setting the edge but not so great at rushing the passer. Glad to see him making a big play. -
Bills Classless Again [Edit: FinHeaven message board]
BuffBillsForLife replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow they really, really, really want to see Allen get a career-ending injury on that message board, yikes. -
This O-line is why the Bills won’t win it all this year.
BuffBillsForLife replied to JY422's topic in The Stadium Wall
All of the top AFC teams are very inconsistent this year so I can see the Bills making the superbowl in spite of our poor o-line play, only to get absolutely blown up by Tampa's D-line.
