We only ever saw AB play with Ben Roethlisberger, and it seems like Ben at least has some of the responsibility for 'creating' AB the way we all know him today. I know we're all bills fans here but I'm not 110% on the 'our starters beat their starters' train. First of all, I don't think Detroit played stafford in their last possession of the half, did they? Also, at the point JA ran his 2 minute drill (Which was after Stafford was benched) was the entire Detroit Lions first string defense still out there? Maybe.. I am not certain. But even so, it was a shaky first half and at best I'd call it even but given the field positions we found our selves in and the turn overs I see it hard to mark it as a 'win' even for my optimistic side. Still, I'm not too down about it, our game plan of run run pass was bad and that contributed to at a lot of it.

bro nobody has a 100% completion rate on passes 35+ yards I mean... at best you are looking at low % throws the longer and deeper you go. Which is why NFL offenses typically don't dial up a ton of bombs as a game plan. I agree though, when the play is there to be made (like there was one tonight) you want to hit those really bad and it sucks every time you miss them. But lets be honest about it eh?
