  1. I think what the poster is saying is that you TELL PEOPLE THEY SUCK by kicking their butt on the football field and leaving no doubt. Not talking personal smack about the individual players after the game is over and won. Being humble in victory is a sign of dominance and of true strength. It is not a sign of weakness as some other posters have suggested. Just like how the patriots are always praising their opponents both before and after the game. But our boys need to learn how to win, just like everything else. They are not used to it, there will be growing pains. I have no doubt if it gets out of hand McD will reign it in.
  2. Fans can do as they please, they can't be controlled, so to argue about what fans do would really be stupid. Almost as stupid as comparing the actions of fans to the actions of players -- almost, but not quite. A different era? Professionalism and class have nothing to do with the year you were born LOL. I am 34 years old, what are you trying to say that wanting the players to win with class and behave with professionalism is a boomer mentality? FFS your argument is going from dumb to dumber.
  3. I got no problems with fans being as trashy as they want. By all means, LET the fans do the trash talking! The bills should talk trash with their actions on the field just my 2 cents. THROW THE DILDOS! ALL THE DILDOS!
  4. To be fair, nobody could really hear it... not even sure where that audio came from. Do they act trashy though? I dunno about that. All I ever see the patriots doing is praising their opponents leading up to the game, and then afterwords in the post game as well... Don't really think I ever saw a patriots player shouting at our fans "That's why ya'll SUCK, Cause you got TUH-ROD!"
  5. Exactly... that's just taking it too far. Celebrating and having fun especially in a victory is of course to be expected. Trashing the other players like that calling them out by name is just really uncalled for. You can celebrate without that.
  6. At least this time you didn't post a novel -- Just joshin' ya;)
  7. There is nothing wrong with celebrating after a big play, there isn't any reason the players can't celebrate. I haven't seen anything wrong with any of Ed Oliver's celebrations. Just in case you forgot your position in this argument is that "NONE OF IT MATTERS": Taking shots at the fans/or personal shots at other players on the opposing team... well that's just trashy *****, sure some players do that around the league, doesn't mean everyone has to be okay with it, or that everyone is okay with it. Certainly doesn't mean "NONE OF IT MATTERS". To some, it matters quite a lot. Our coaching staff and GM in particular put a great value on how the players conduct themselves both on the field and off. Again, there are famous quotes like "It's not about winning or losing, but how you play the game" for a reason. But this is probably the most pertinent one, since obviously this stuff does matter: "Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat." Wise words that echo through the decades because apparently this stuff matters after all. I just chalk it up like everything else: The Bills are learning how to win. There will be growing pains!
  8. I've just noticed this trend developing recently with our team, so I don't think you can say "yet it continues, guess McD is fine with it", it's a developing situation that I am sure at some point McD will have to handle.
  9. I'm pretty sure that almost everyone agrees with the phrase "It's not about winning or losing, it's about how you play the game." Nobody likes a showboating ass clown, a cheater, or a sore loser. Things matter. To suggest "none of it matters" is really just out there... I'm not saying the bills players the OP referenced are any of those things, I am saying it's crazy to think people arn't "mindful of it".
  10. Thats like, your opinion man. And you're welcome to have it. Doesn't mean it's right, or a barometer for how "most others" feel. There is a fine line between being classless and being competitive. Good spirited competitive celebration should be applauded and supported. Acting like trash and cocky/arrogant isn't exactly what the bills were going for when they rebuilt this team as stated time and time again so I don't really understand your position in trying to defend "any and all actions" outside of the game as "Totally fine". I'm not saying explicitly that they have done anything wrong at this point, but I bet the coaching staff is mindful of it.
  11. Shaq's got some cringeworthy stuff out there but it's usually him and jordan phillips that have me rolling my eyes. I havent' really seen any celebration from Oliver that made me feel that way, though. Still, I wouldn't want to have the players worrying about their personalities in that way. Play hard, win, enjoy it. I do think there is a fine line between competitive celebration and being disrespectful/unprofessional. It's a fine line, it's worth taking notice.
  12. Shaq has come to life this season especially. Love the juice he brings! He has a nice relationship with Jordan Phillips too, another guy we should try to resign.. Hope bean recognizes you got to hang on to some of them. Shaq's are own number 1 pick so just makes total sense to keep him a buffalo bill. I get it wasn't beans pick, but talent is talent. No good squad ever is. I like that about this regime. They'll bench you, bring in competition, and straight up drop your ass if you suck. You got to motivate your players these guys seem great at that. Shaq's playing at his best level yet. Oliver is coming alive, got to love what you are seeing as a bills fan.
  13. Stephen A Smith gave credit to the bills as well as one of his co hosts. The other co-host was a little wishy-washy he blamed dallas deficiencies but also recognized bills. So that's both NFL Network and ESPN giving us some love. If you're surprised that they'd all still rather talk about dallas and whats going on in dallas -- don't be, they have a lot more viewers from dallas and texas then they do from Buffalo and no amount of winning will ever change that. Plus, who ISNT talking about the Jerry Jones spectacle anyways? Guy was crying in the booth rubbing his hands on his face, holding locker room meetings threatening to fire his coaches.... the circus is in town in Dallas. We don't need the circus. JUST WIN!
  14. I been seeing plenty of love for the bills all day today where is the narrative coming from?
  15. I was never a doubter but I wasn't happy with what I was seeing mid-season..... the bills have come a long way in the past 4 weeks we are really firing on all cylinders now. Playing the best football when it matters most thats what winners do, gotta love it!
  16. Why does every time this guy post its like a #$@$n novel.... Aint nobody got time for that!
  17. I say we just give josh the gold jacket and the Lombardi now. Why wait? Afterwords we can let him lay with our wives and the ritual will be complete.
  18. The thing is our coach is conservative and when our team has a 2+ score lead our coaches basically shut the o down in the 4th quarter. They arnt wrong to do that, but it does hurt allens passing stats
  19. Allen with the play of the game grabbing that botched snap and just power driving for a yard. Incredible!
  20. Them goal posts keep moving
  21. Lets win vs dallas and we can drop ravens wont matter as much!
  22. If we get in the playoffs anything is possible. Allen is a gamer you never know. The best teams always play their best towards the end. Go Bills!
