I mean I doubt they treated it lightly. I think the main problem is McDermott is holding our offense back because he is prone to conservative play and he doesnt trust allen fully. We play much better when the offense is not in McDerMode.

Not that important for us to be so conservative. It was the patriots that had everything to lose and us with everything to gain. It should have been them playing it safe and conservative (belichick too smart for that never would).... McDermott looked foolish. Like he didnt understand the situation or the opportunity. To be honest im not sure he DESERVES coach of the year . He has done really well but he has one more step to take and I dont think he has learned how yet.

Not really that important to us. We had no reason not to let it all hang out there today and to be super aggressive knowing that we are already clinched and never have an opportunity like this one.

Daboll puts our offense into conservative mode once we have a lead at the direction of Sean McDermott. Its actually McDermott who likes to play what I used to think was "tyrod ball" but am now realizing its actually "mcdermott ball". He needs to grow as a coach, he holds both Daboll and Allen back. Then again, allen has shown at times this season he needed to be held back. They need to find the sweet spot it isnt right.

Lol this is dumb. The back shoulder corner end zone is not an easy shot as Kurt Warner said on TV. A lot of QBs miss on that time to time. Josh threw it safely so only his guy had a chance and we picked up 3 points on the drive. We lost by more than 4 buckaroo.

Bro every QB misses their share of plays throws and opportunities... McDermott plays wayyyy to conservative which tends to work about half the time -- more so against weaker opponents.

Mcdermott MUST learn from this and grow... you cant go conservative with a 7 point lead against the pats its just dumb Honestly McDermotts conservative and gutless playcalling almost lost us the steelers game... almost. Look I like McD a lot, but he has to learn and grow.

Daboll already told the media some of those calls are directive he receives from mcdermott, actually.

Thank you! At least someone says it. IMO mcdermott doesnt deserve coach of the year for this reason. He will NEVER beat belichick with that style of gutless playcalling and its McDermott who MUST learn this lesson. We need McDermott to grow as a coach before allen will be allowed to grow as a QB.

Agreed. Playcalling was gutless and embarassing for josh allen in my opinion. Hated to see that but glad we pulled it out in the end. Defense got 4 turnovers baby duck sucked!!! Go bills. Coaches, please do better!!! It was because singletary got benched after the fumble wasnt it?

Mcdermott didnt even let o throw one pass in final 7 minutes so.. allen could have easily wracked up another 70+yards if our coaches werent dumb turtles.

Steelers defense is really good but objectively the bills offense was putrid tonight.

You can appreciate a win and still be critical of mistakes the team is making that are holding them back. At the same time for perspective you have to remember all NFL teams struggle at different times in different ways.
