    I am wondering if the Cooks news is being saved for Hard Knocks. I could see McBeane seeing the benefit of throwing a bone and letting the show be the first to announce the deal, which the show has never done. It is all about ratings.

    Her s my speculation on "what changed" A. They are about to announce a deal B. The front office told him he will start to pay fines. There may be one other...he was informed if he doesn't play or practice til week 1, he will have limited playing time the first week or two which will impact everyone, including himself
