Did I say he's no good? I've said he has not looked good SO FAR. And that is true. Then I asked others opinions. Thank you, you've added so much to the conversation.

I just looked his first 4 games last year was 26 for 75 yards. 3.0 yards per carry. So he is down on touches and YPC but it's not some huge difference Maybe it just feels that way to me. Gotta get back to work fellas. Looking forward to reading everyone else's thoughts

If there are any all-22 guys, could you post the Davis runs in here so we could take a look at them?

Last year while games were still close that were plenty of times Ray got damm near an entire series as part of a rotation Last year it was 50-25-25. Now it's not even close. I get Cook looks great. He looked this great last year as well. And I'm cooks biggest fan and was all over the pay Cook side of things. That said, I think with where the team is at, it's valid to consider how we lock up the 1st seed and make sure Cook is available and looks this good in January and February I think it both as well Ty looks fine to me. Very true. That first paragraph especially. I didn't understand when people made that argument

It's not that. He just doesn't seem to shed tackles, push the pile or any of that tough running he did last year. I want cook to get the bulk. But damn near 400 touches before playoff time is not a good place We need our 2nd best player on offense and our best offensive weapon available in January

2.6 yards per carry is atrocious. And regarding preseason, I'm comparing how Gore looked compared Davis running behind the same (or worse in many of gores carries) o line. Does Ray look like the same guy he was last year to you? He is the one who said he changed up his body type to become "more elusive or dynamic" or whatever it was he said exactly. The fact he is trying to change up his style and the different results is really what is red flag for me

Add in his preseason numbers and that is about a games worth of stats And yuck That makes sense. I don't think that move comes from outside, I'd like to first see Gore get a call up or two to see if it's him. Another option is Ty gets more touches. Then we look outside.

That's right. Ty can produce if given a random few plays here or there Davis could last year as well. Why can't Davis do it this year....so far? That's fair. Patience was never my strong suit. But if it continues, is that going to be our only course of action?

That stats back up what I'm seeing though I don't see a reliable back up in him this year. Maybe it's the weight lost because his approach and body type he is striving for is different.

The jets game, which was his breakout game was week 5 I think. And I'm not saying give up on him, but he does not look like the same back. And yes it was pre season, but at what point would you use a Gore call up to see if there is a difference. I think I'd want to see now or in the next few weeks. Someone to take some burden off cook will help us in January McD loves rotations. I think they don't like what they see either and that is why you see his touches way down. He has spoken about cooks usage a bit in pressers.. I'm not saying get rid of anyone. But at some point if he continues averaging 2.6 yards a carry and looking bad, they are gonna have to take a look. I'd rather they look sooner or in the next few weeks before we hit the Bye and KC. He is but it's a long season and he has 87 touches already. He is pacing 370 for the year plus we got 4 playoff games to play I want him there those last 4 I agree with you on Ty. ButRay has shown nothing

Not saying give up on them I think Ty has looked better in his limited opportunities. So if we see Ray continue to avg under 3 yards per carry, at what point do you give Gore a try? I agree cook is a monster. But we are not watching the same Ray Davis. Is cook getting more opportunities because the coaches have no faith in Ray (and maybe Ty)?

So Ray Davis said he dropped about 15 lbs and wanted to be more elusive. However, that is not what brought him to the big leagues and so far this year we are seeing a much less productive Ray Davis. In the preseason he looked awful and so far this year he has looked awful. So I am curious as to if the staff will use a call up soon on Frank Gore Jr, put him in Davis role, make Davis inactive and see if that is an upgrade. We have 3 call ups, so at one point would you say, ok let's see what Gore can do for us this year? After all, Gore ran behind the same backups that Davis did in preseason and looked much better. Goes stats in 2025 11 carries, 29 yards, 2.6 yards per attempt. We will need someone to spell Cook... So if you had a say, would you give Gore a call up and make Ray inactive to see if this helps. I'll be honest thY whole story stinks The fact he showed up to the press conference after the injury supposedly occured does not pass the smell test I think he twisted at home, or got stepped on by one of his horses and the team did him a solid and said, yup happened at practice He would not have attended the PC and of he was injured, someone would have noticed a slump or something

I've never seen a player to be so happy as they are being carted off the field with a career ending injury. He must have a ***** ton of insurance on himself for injury. Which makes me ask the following questions. What are the cap ramifications now for the dolphins? Will Tyreek personally receive more money from the dolphins now due to injury guarantees in his contract? Why else would he be so damn happy to destroy his knee..

Josh is a much better player when he can go wherever he wants as opposed to worrying about giving a guy targets The record number points we put up last year speaks to that. The 30 plus a game this year speaks to that. We are also a run first team. How would AJ feel about that? Because his presence is not enough for us to become a run and shoot team

He plays for the 4-0 Eagles and is mad he isn't getting enough touches So why would a team that goes with everybody eats and want receivers who celebrate each other as opposed to getting in their feelings think he would fit? And why would he want to go to a team where he may have a stat line of 2 catches 27 yards in a win and want him to be ok with it? The titans got a 1st for him...
