Doubt they will get the charges dropped so Rice is probably well aware the stiffest penalty is gonna be the suspension the league gives him. If it's postponed til June, then he's gonna try to get the next date pushed til 2026. He won't be suspended til 2026 season

Amazing how money can drag something out like this. The judge must be a Chiefs fan. Normally you don't see something like this go almost two years without court appearances of some type to address the case
