  1. I'm not sure if he will be anywhere near as good but totally in the mold of Kyle and Fred.
  2. Sam Rogers is the FB version of Fred Jackson. He will grind and grind and doesn't give up on plays. People count him out but he tries the hardest. He can run a little and really does a little of everything. Missing the catch wasn't the main problem, batting it up so the other team could catch it was.
  3. Also Warner, Faulk and Holt or Bruce
  4. Except this guy was a baller in college. All time Virginia Tech leader in receiving yards and should have been drafted.
  5. I don't think there was any bigger mistake than firing Polian. He would have most likely gotten us a Super Bowl win and just look at how many on his staff went on to be GMs, Gettlemen, AJ Smith, Telesco, Butler, etc. when we could have drafted Russell Wilson.....
  6. IMO Cam Phillips will be more able to be that guy than those two.
  7. I agree with this. Protect the QB and giving him someone to throw to will be paramount. At least we got a QB and a leader of our defense.
  8. Don't see a way to get there without adding next years pick which was already stated will not happen
  9. He actually appeared more as a crybaby that didn't get his favorite rattle. Not worried about his success if that is how it translates to the locker room. I am disappointed with Allen but I think he might have been the best left. Like Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning? Or JP Losman over Eli Manning?
  10. I don't remember for sure but I thought it was in between the two games we played
  11. Wonder if that was what triggered Ajayi's trade. I wonder if it is an indication of leadership? Not sure if Gase is a type of person you want coaching your team especially when he kept calling out the offense and that is his experience
  12. The problem is that was what we were doing all year and everyone was keyed in on it.
  13. Unfortunately Taylor forced the Bills hand and there was a lack of options on the team so by default Peterman was it. Tyrod went through a stretch where he wasn't running and he was afraid to throw. I'm not sure McDerm would have done things differently if he looked back and had a second shot because there was nothing else to do.
  14. I have long held this belief that Mills while not a great player had much more to give that day but I think if that is what truly happened Mills would have been cut the next day. If that's what happened that would show the character of Mills allowing for Peterman to get hurt. I hate that the media jumped all over Peterman and McDermott when it was obvious his protection was flat out garbage, Peterman couldn't even take a 5 step drop before someone is in the backfield in his face. However at that point Peterman should have taken sacks and not just lofted them up.
  15. A lot of our free agents aren't signing so I'm guessing we are getting some of them back. LB, CB, WR, Oline (especially interior) and QB. I think we look solid everywhere else and I'm guessing the draft will take care of most of it.
  16. I'm guessing Daboll was trying to grab some Alabama guys and maybe this is one of the few he was allowed to bring or maybe Daboll knows more about him that shows he has real promise as a coach.
  17. The question to ask is was he really that good the year before. We can improve that position but it isn't necessary. Vlad will start because of Castillo though
  18. Still much better than what we were last year......
  19. At this point why don't we throw Bevell into the conversation. I would do so with Tom Cable but he wouldn't be a match with McDerm
  20. I'm not sure a spread QB can't play in the NFL at a high level.....
  21. Greg Olson from the Rams, their QB coach.
  22. You know that wasn't in the gameplan at all and it was everyone was being defended and took what the Bills gave him. No designed runs and if Tyrod did the same thing we would have won the game. Marrone is gone and some of me is glad. Is He better than McDerm? Time will tell but they did stack up on defense and we got rid of our best players in Darby, Gilmore and Dareus and still ended up in the same game only a TD away from a tie. Plus we have a stockpile of picks to fix some holes, who will be better next year?
  23. At this point this Dlineman brought on a distraction. He should be worrying about the Steelers and not some statement he thought he heard that no one else did. If there is an issue please deal with it later because all it is right now is a distraction.
  24. I think schemes win when you don't have an elite QB. Lynn had Taylor looking decent last year.
