  1. So did Milano. I think our defense as a whole is better this year. I could be wrong but I get the sense Benford will play. The play seemed harmless enough when he got injured. I get a feeling that if it was earlier in the game he would have been cleared to go back in.
  2. I think this is good for him to do because he has some room to grow. Also probably saw what happened to Daboll in New York
  3. Fair enough.... I think for the sake of argument he is I think the true X receiver (or whatever they called it when he was coming in). The question is probably what do people think is a #1 receiver. Some think its most receptions, so think its most yardage but more importantly for me I think it's who the defense worries about and gameplans against most. That could have been Kincaid with Shakir helping out but Kincaid I don't think progressed the way they wanted him to.
  4. I would feel much better honestly if Kincaid progressed more. That's the killer right there So I absolutely don't disagree with that at all. Only thing I was saying was Edelmen isn't a #1
  5. I'm trying to keep up are we talking per game and focusing on cherry pick years? Just trying to understand your rules lol
  6. Guess you don't like others playing your game. James White was to show how insane your mindset is.
  7. LOL. Go back and factor per game on Gronk then. Might hurt your argument. To say Edelman is the number one target is crazy when Gronk was on the team.
  8. I think the players on offense can work as long as Samuel shows his old self. I do agree better receivers would be nice though
  9. Cherry picking stats. Don't forget 2011 and 2012. Also how many games was Gronk out.
  10. So in 2018 the #1 receiver for the Patriots was James White, not Edelman or Gronk, is that what you are saying?
  11. Maybe Coleman can be that guy. He has to keep refining his craft though. I believe Higgins you meant Hollins So not the #1 anymore just most receptions.... interesting
  12. That's not accurate but for sake of argument Gronk had significantly more yardage. But by that same logic Welker far caught more receptions than Moss and got more yardage.
  13. If Edelman was on a team I wouldn't worry about taking him out of the game, Gronk was the key. Targets is not a very telling stat as Gronk was less likely open most of the time. I'm not sure this is the discussion we really want to have on this thread, though. All I am saying is Shakir reminds me more of Welker.
  14. The silly part is what I highlighted that people don't think of him as a #1 receiver because he was a Tight End
  15. Agreed Randy Moss was a force. I do think Welker is more appropriate to Shakir. Welker was a huge YAC guy and worked well with Moss as Shakir worked better with a Amari Cooper on the field
  16. That's just silly.
  17. Eh, I would say Gronk was the #1 on that team. Wes Welker to me makes mores sense.
  18. I think the end result should show you why we have excellent coaches. GDTs go crazy about one play even when we are up by two TDs. It's a mindset that leads to a lot of success. Yes Josh is a big reason we are successful but if all it took was a great QB, Rivers would have been at a couple of Super Bowls and Brees would have been to a couple more.
  19. Man TBs forced fumble was all him and nothing to do with Andrews. Too bad still no respect
  20. Hyde is the best safety we have. The only reason he did not come back and start this year was him. I disagree. If you have been doing it for years and as he has been practicing, he will have no problem if his body can stay healthy.
  21. No it's not especially deep in our territory
