  1. I would think Dawkins and Kincaid too. Subjective though
  2. I feel your pain but not sure there is a better way to handle that. If we go three runs won't as many people complain we didn't try to win the game with only a field goal needed. I've seen it too many times people calling McDermott too conservative. I do think if they did not have three timeouts though you would have seen all runs.
  3. Now this is somewhat of a silly statement as we have had struggles on defense and our LBs keep getting injured.
  4. Hypothetically say we hire him. You really think he would be alright with the roster structure on defense? Milano would be a Safety in his defense lol
  5. Is it scheme or execution? Were people able to make the plays and just didn't or were the players not in the right position for success?
  6. Yes he absolutely will. I'm guessing you forgot the years of Jauron, Rex Ryan, Gailey, Williams, Mularkey, and Marrone. Look at the league and pick three (if you can find them) coaches you would rather have than McDermott and then look at the forums on the team's sites and see if they don't have similar views. Be happy that we have a coach that consistently takes us to the playoffs and gives us a chance every year.
  7. So your solution is to add one high priced player to replace 4 positions we need to address. Elam is a rookie contract and you are not getting that money back. Bass is being paid less than a million a year, how are you saving money on a kicker or do you advise we go without a kicker? Knox is the only gripe you have, he was overpaid but still is a solid TE. My point with Diggs and Miller is everyone would have complained if we didn't extend Diggs and everyone was excited about Miller when we signed him. Can't blame Beane if no one disagreed with the move to begin with.
  8. They have pieces but a very flawed roster
  9. Can Saleh coach a D line? Sign him up lol
  10. I maintain the decision at the end of the Texans game was not the wrong decision but obviously it didn't work out. Running would have still given the Texans the ball back in fact unless a first down a running play would take less time off the clock. No matter what they had to make a first down and throwing would have been more likely. I'm actually surprised not to see a Josh run once.
  11. We are in this situation paying our QB, our departed Pro Bowl WR, and our nonexistent (yet everyone was excited to get) pass rusher. The cap doesn't not lend to having a decent QB and still having money. Texans will face this in a year and the Ravens will too.
  12. Not sure what people thought Davis was but Shakir is much better. Emotions play too much on this board. Yes we are 3-2 but not by any stretch out of the playoffs. Young players will get better further in the season and having players back will help on defense. Not sure what to make of the offense but as long as we win our last game of the year being the super bowl I'm fine
  13. I got to believe with a game like that Allen is more injured then he leads us to believe. Probably affects some throws
  14. You remember when we couldn't win the division for what was it 20 years? The bar has been raised by us.
  15. 3 timeouts would have stopped clock
  16. Sounds like a problem we had here.
  17. He is back with us after just a year there I believe
  18. I noticed that too. Settle, Diggs, Woods and Hughes.
  19. I think they believed they had one more year with Hyde at least. That makes a difference
  20. Makes you kind of wish Poyer and Hyde were there?
  21. Just wait till half way through the season where he can't catch anything
  22. Might have to do with his arm hurting
