Has McCown been mentoring Hackenberg?
I hate all this 'mentoring' crap that people pull out of their tail.
Spend some money & hire a frigging coach that can actually coach.
Don't hire a former player that is a supposed 'pied piper' but has no idea how to coach.

Fugemall. Keep fighting Bill.
Hold on as long as you can.

My prediction is that someone who does not deserve it will be pushed up the draft board because that could run faster and jump higher that folks thought while wearing shorts. If they let players play in shorts that these pieces of information would be interesting. We'll also see that Mayfield is shorter than his program height and that will scare some folks when it should not.
I think he was measured at the Senior Bowl @ 6' 3/8".
He gets into his late 50's, he might drop under 6' but probably will have retired by then.

Family lives in Austin, so probably not that exciting for a Texas kid to drive 3 hours to Darlington.
If it was still in NYC, he might be tempted.

Get rid of Taylor.
Figure out the rest later.
Unlike the NBA, leading the league in 3 pointers is not a good thing.

Assuming his biceps is healing ok, I think I'd prefer DaQuan Jones.

Isn't that his wife in that beach shot?
I can't even spot her mouth.
Who knows. Maybe that's a good thing.

I listen more closely when a former OL guy evaluates either a DL or a fellow OL.
Same thing for a LB/RB/WR/CB/QB, etc They played or competed directly against that POS, then try to listen more closely
Most of these evaluators watch a fair amount of film and I think it is more substantive when they hone in on the good and bad for a position they actually played or a position they directly played against.
Example would be any guy that played OL, then watched film of Aaron Donald. First words after watching were probably along the lines of, "!@#$ me to tears."
Doesn't mean their other opinions are worthless. Just less valuable via actual, accrued pain.

Two concussions last year and was in concussion protocol for about a month.
Kolb had a few earlier concussions, then got kicked in the back of the head and it ended his career.
Rosen has a ton of talent, but ...

Peter Dinklage was not on his OL nor was Doug Legursky. His OL ranged from 6'2" to 6'7".
He moves & is smart enough to keep clear vision.
I think he's beyond our reach, but we'd do well if we managed to get that kid.

I wish we'd got him back in 2011 at pick 68 instead of Kelvin Sheppard.
But now, I'd pass.

Stand by for about 200 Jimmy G commercials.

He was probably really mean and raised his voice and said mean things.

Tide commercial wasn't the funniest but it will have carryover. Real clever.
Everything that is clean becomes a Tide commercial. Whoever came up with that will keep that account for awhile.
Also, watching a couple of pros (Dinklage & Freeman) was unexpected fun.

A lot of hard laughs, but imagining Julie Andrews as also hating the Pats was real good.
"A lone woman runs across an alpine mountainside to tell the hills the news that the Pats have lost, and therefore !@#$ YOU FOREVER."

Great article and nice find. Ha! So if Jeffrey checked and got the OK, the Zebras couldn't toss a flag without Big Egg on them.
Yeah, I didn't even know there was such a thing that could happen down on the field.
Might explain some of the ref 'huddles' we see every once in awhile.

Draft isn't until April 26th. If Wentz is still doing well in his recovery, they will probably try to trade him to someone for a 2nd.
Maybe take the Jets off the board for a QB.
Still may be some hope for Mayfield to drop to us ....

Peter King covered the 7 men on the line Q in his column:
"Except Jeffery claimed he got the okay from the official on the right sideline. The way formation rules work, players can look over at a side judge or other official nearby to see if he’s in the permissible spot."

I remember when Madden retired and they replaced him with Collinsworth.
Off the edge terrible. Whiny, pompous turd.

I hope their decline is rapid and permanent.

Give him a look.
Just be careful with the contract, that's all.
