  1. Umpfh. 2 OTs. Sounds like Brown may have taken a step back. Hope Anderson plays strong the rest of the way. I personally don’t want to see Hart or Tenuda as Quisenberry’s. Backup.
  2. Like a slow developing, 1 man reverse. #59 got sucked in bad.
  3. I think Ford was in for 17 snaps. From what I could see, gave up 1 pressure and 1 whiffed run block that led to a TFL. Pretty solid run blocker. Definitely wasn’t the worst guy out there, but he does tend to ‘point’ himself at the guy he is going to block which probably helps him offset his lack of footwork/foot speed.
  4. By one of his coaches.
  5. Maybe the wording is just awkward, but did they ask him beforehand to set the leg to pulverize?
  6. Six interceptions — three by Tua Tagovailoa — at Dolphins’ camp. News from practice No. 13 Read more at: https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article263843032.html#storylink=cpy
  7. I’m mortified. Disinformation at its worst. I went there, either did not find the right page/insufficient scrolling and used a different site. thanks. I just hope Thad Brown doesn’t pick up on this error.
  8. That’s what I saw too. Cut and go, no dancing.
  9. I could say something about Tampa’s Tyler Johnson (see above) not playing STs and yet still making the roster as the 5th/6th WR the last 2 years, but I’m a mature adult and I won’t do that.
  10. I think the OL needs to get out there, make their comm mistakes now so they can clean them up.
  11. Didn’t they have draft picks or ANY money for FA?
  12. I think they’ll go with Tenuda.
  13. One year of not healthy. He was on ps most of last year. Jeesh - start holding ‘healthy’ over players’ heads and 1/3 of the current players in the NFL will need to pack. As for special teams, let’s see what happens. Let’s also see what happens with dropped balls, receptions, yardage and fumbles.
  14. Yeah, I think Keenum is going to kick his own ass pretty hard this week.. I expect much better on his next go.
  15. I guess it depends upon your pov. many here consider Hodgins, Spector, Morris, Blackshear to be fringe players. i know it won’t happen, but I’d like to see all 4 of them make the team. 50/50 on any of them being picked up, but i believe for the long view we improve the team over kumerow, jones, matekevich and howard. Whether they can contribute on STs remains to be seen, though I think we have a solid start with Blackshear.
  16. Haack only had 11 FC last year. I’m guessing 20 this year. IMO, Haack was the worst player on the team last year. Granted, it was a limited role. Not as if he was the QB, but nevertheless, he rarely outperformed his modest expectations. With Araiza, we now have 2 ST guys that can boom it and almost eliminate the possibility of long returns. Use their strengths, which opens up - to a certain extent - the ST portion of the roster
  17. Yeah, i know about the 10. We get to midfield, I think Araiza will punish the ball. I’m sticking with 1 a game +++ a bit. Maybe he becomes great at OB inside the 20, but in either event, we have a great D to keep them down there.
  18. Haack had 52 punts last year, 7 of which were touchbacks. Any bets on how many TBs this year? I’m thinking 20 with another 20 fair catches & 10 OB. There may only be 10 punts returned all year. We already know that Bass, given the go ahead, can pound it out of the endzone. Adapt to your players strengths -> Less stress on coverage units, more emphasis on return units.
  19. We only had 18 first downs yesterday and he accounted for 4 of them. If he can get that kind of output in the coming games against the 1st/2nd teams, he should make the team, regardless of ST usage.
  20. No, he said he’d keep Taiwan. Maybe reread his post.
  21. Blackshear looked pretty good today. Let’s see who they put out there next week.
  22. I can see Beane at least trying to trade Haack. McDermott just commented: McDermott on Araiza 82 yarder: "Don't want to dismiss it... but it's just one punt. Thought Haack did a good job on his punt. Both did well." good chance he’s giving Haack a chance to show what he’s got. No way we keep both of them.
  23. Did they make the bonus contingent on being eligible in 2022? Haslam is an idiot, so I’d be surprised if he folded that into the negotiations.
  24. That ball couldn’t have missed #30’s head by more than 2”. I bet he heard about it when he got back to the bench. Would’ve been a live ball.
  25. I didn’t think Howard even dressed. Wonder if Beane is willing to bite the bullet on that contract. Put him on the field and its 10 vs 11.
