Yes, I understand all of this, but the ‘age 18’ comments I see peppered about seem to have been created from within this thread and now has its own life. Being 18 or 17 as a freshman in college is an accident of birthdate. So she did NOT say she was 18. That supposed fact was given birth in this thread, correct??

IMO, the ‘I am 18’ declaration never took place. Why would a person announce they are 18, when the legal drinking age is 21?

Probably should ask the Bills attorneys. The Bills are now in the position of doing next to nothing without firm input/approval from their attorneys. I would not doubt that only the Pegulas can override.

Reading some of these posts makes me wonder if people understand that the Bills have their own attorneys and quite likely have picked up a Cal firm on retainer. Much if not all of their responses and actions over the last month have and will continue to be directed by their attorneys. Every communication release by the Bills has been & will continue to be heavily wordsmithed.

A Collective Bargaining Agreement (example - unionized Civil Service employee) can stand first when it comes to terminating an employee. I don’t know the defense. None of us do, but @alphadawg7 commented that several people said Araiza wasn’t even there during the gang rape, among which were one or more of her girlfriends. It’s hard to keep up with all of this stuff.
