    I think that once Mancz’s ankle is up to speed, he comes up to the 53 and Roten (or Hart) goes down to the PS. This could even happen after game 1. PS being used for Rehab.

    If the NFL finally passes a rule allowing the use of walkers on kickoffs, we’ll lock in Taiwan long-term which will eventually push us up to the high 30’s.

    5 tackles and 3 guards that can actually walk. One of those walkers is also the supposed backup center. Hart, who practiced mostly at guard is shown at tackle, his position of most demonstrated intense suckage. me no likee

    If he gets within sniffing distance, the team will sure try and get him the rest of the way. Last game of the year is home vs the Pats. Be nice to grind their meat into the snow.

    2 more carries per game, maybe less than that if he & the OL stay reasonably healthy.

    I think it’s likely they did an MRI on his calf, just to see how badly his muscle fibers were jangled. Since he’s ok to push off on the bike, but not yet be in drills, we may not see him in week 1. 100% conjecture.

    During camp at SJF, Astro used to comment about the TEs doing extra work w/Boras. Sometimes it would be Knox + Morris or Morris + Sweeney. Howard was never mentioned. He either thought he didn’t need the work or just didn’t feel the need to compete/get better. I wasn’t surprised when he was cut. I think his ‘respect the process’ was at best, Null.

    You got me. I didn’t think we were even allowed to cut an injured player without an accompanying injury settlement. I think it’s possible that he refused the injury settlement and Beane said fuggit, bye bye.

    Having traded Ford and cut Mancz, Hart is pretty much what is left.

    I’m sure that Stevenson’s elegant presentation to the coaches of roast chicken with red wine demi-glace and polenta had no effect at all on his retention.

    I think he started off pretty rough and had a bad catch rate. Didn’t seem to mesh with Tyrod. You know how it is - the bust label is more like a brand than a label. Once it’s on you, it’s tough to lose it. The motel incident didn’t help either.

    They may just be playing the system and his minor injury ‘fit the requirements” for sleight of hand. We should know fairly soon.

    I’ll put it under a different light - he has worked hard for 3 years and still hasn’t achieved his dream. I hope he goes elsewhere and tears it up. I don’t see anything wrong with that thought.
