    The last time we played them was 9/30/18 and we were thumped 22-0. Josh: 16/33, 151, 0 TD, 2 ints, 1 fumble, rtg 36.3, qbr 4.9, sacked 7 times, 11 qb hits, Anybody think he just might remember that game? oops. Almost forgot. 2.2 yards per pass.

    This has happened during the toughest part of our schedule in spite of Oliver, through injury, being a non-contributor. DaQuan is making everything work better, including Edmunds.

    You may have been correct on that. Sunday Mahomes ran for 21 vs 69 last year. We’re definitely a lot better vs the run with DaQuan & Shaq.

    No argument on any of that. Their turnover margin (to date) helps explain their current record. Mahomes doubled his INTs on Sunday and I suspect Hurts would run into the same vs our D.

    I agree OP. We are suddenly in a tough division and every away game may end up being a nail biter. Which is best … afc e or nfc e? Ehhh, not important, don’t care.

    I think our D, particularly with Tre back, would close them down. Where they have been very impressive is with turnovers. 14 takeaways with only 2 giveaways is a great way to pick up close games.

    We were at their 34 with 16 seconds left in the half. We scored a TD. Over the final 16 seconds, they covered 28 yards and scored a field goal. So who won that exchange?

    A couple of the Chargers projected cupcakes are suddenly looking tougher; the Seahawks and the Falcons.

    I read many posts last week where KC was proclaimed to have a strong running attack.. We held them to 3.78 YPC yesterday and i think that is where i see the biggest change. Our front 4 is very solid now and DaQuan & Shaquille deserve a chunk of the credit. Our LBs are playing better and our D is more physical.

    If not for McDermott, we’d probably be stumbling along every year at 7-9/8-8/9-7. Anybody that wants to get rid of McDermott is a damned fool.

    Clear to me that Josh is not in favor of a trade for another RB. I think he’s also telling Beane to find the money to keep him long term. I doubt that Singletary will even negotiate. He’ll be happy to stay right here with a modest contract.
