Ratings for tv as a whole are down, but the nfl still holds the highest rating on avg. Pats - jags was the highest rated since sb51. Networks are still willing to fork over huge sums of cash. So ratings cant be that bad.

Love or hate the Pats, but you cant say that their superbowls are boring. They have had the best games win or lose.

Thats called growing up. I would say for most people their fandom is the highest when they are in their 20's as jobs and family's come about you realize its just a game.
