Did you see Barkley’s mom? I see where he gets his build and power, wonder what her 40 time is. -

Gettleman is an old school moron -
Thanks. Hope everyone abides by the rules and enjoys a great night for the Bills.

Sadly, I think this mock from CBS is the most accurate...

Yeah, and now Arians is saying the Cards should take him at 15. Gonna be a great draft night! I’m pumped to see this play out. -
Have You Ever Gotten Into A Fight Defending The Bills?
Buddy Hix replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Strange thread and story, but the hockey game doesn’t start for 12 mins, so here I am. I can’t say that I have ever had to fight for the Bills, not sure I would. But I have seen many crazy fights at the Ralph. I went on a bus trip and there was a father and son who were on the bus, very loud and mouthy, wearing Fins jerseys and looking for trouble all day. I guess they found some as when they got to their seats they had blood on their clothes and the son’s jersey was ripped up one side on the back. They must have done alright because they seemed pretty proud of themselves. I suggested they take it easy and stick with the group. Reggie Bush goes off for 200 yards and we all head for the exits with a few minutes left. I guess the two idiots failed to heed my advice as they were nowhere to be found when we got back to the bus. 10 minutes later I see them walking back to the bus, now the son’s jersey is ripped up both sides and is blowing like a cape and I can see blood from 75 yards away, they got tuned up good. Both start bitching that they got jumped and complaining that our group didn’t “ have their backs”. !@#$ing Dolphin fans... -

I’m good with Vick 2.0 if the new OC is capable of installing an offence that works for him. But I think taking him at 22, after getting Smith at 12, is a better idea. -

Making the case for Lamar Jackson
Buddy Hix replied to 502Buffs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wasn't comparing Jackson and Watson per se, just that people passed on Watson because of accuracy issues that I felt were overblown. As for Jackson, I like him, thought he improved as a passer this past year and have him as my #4 behind Darnold, Baker and Rosen. I see no reason to move up if the player who is left is Allen, and question the cost to move up to get one of the top 3 I like, but wouldn't be PO'd if it happened. The thought of grabbing Smith at #12 and Jackson at #22 is more appealing to me than moving up because I think Jackson could be another Vick, that is the comparison I have been making. -
Why are you a bills fan?

Proximity...live 40 mins from the Ralph -
Live has to be the Green Bay game from a few years ago. Went with lots of Packers’ fans and it was just an awesome time. Overall, 51-3

There is a 50/50 shot the top four guys bust based on past high QB picks. Jackson isn’t nearly as risky a pick as the others IMO.

Making the case for Lamar Jackson
Buddy Hix replied to 502Buffs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Jackson, not as much as Mayfield or Darnold but when the cost of moving up is factored in I think Jackson would be a good selection. Watson's accuracy was questioned last year and he looked great, so that critique doesn't scare me off of Jackson. I'm pretty much good with anybody but Allen and Ruldolph, as long as it doesn't cost the Bills next year's 1st as well. -
Hope the guy gets help, that was crazy.

Deonte Thompson signs with Cowboys

Big reason Bills made the playoffs. Big catches against TB and Indy. Good luck! -
Who is your favorite free agent signing so far?

AJM Good deal and has potential to exceed the "bridge QB" label. -
Who is the better bridge qb Tyrod or AJ McCarron?
Buddy Hix replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with Kirby. And I would add that AJM has an unknown ceiling, whereas with Tyrod I think his ceiling is pretty evident. I'll take the unknown guy, a pick and cap space as my bridge QB. And who knows, maybe AJM becomes a good player for us. -
Bills Re-Sign Kyle Williams To One Year Deal
Buddy Hix replied to dgr81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice! I love watching Kyle play at the Ralph. I don’t know much about Star but I’m hoping these two moves go a long way in helping the interior line. Beane sure keeps busy. Whether it works or not, I like that this team has a plan that seems coherent. It’s been a while since we could say that. -
Worst local media commentator on the Bills?
Buddy Hix replied to VeryWeakPassword's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, I enjoy Schoop. I think your point about the show being smart is true and probably what turns some people off. We all have different opinions as to what makes good radio/commentary, some are looking for a different perspective and some are looking for homers. To each their own. What a strange thread... -
Nice move by Beane. I supported Tyrod but could see his glaring flaws, I really do wish him well in Cleveland. So pumped to see how this all plays out, whether it is a rookie or a vet or both.
