The Oline and running backs need to be upgraded. Unfortunately, Beane has already committed to keeping McCoy. I don’t understand how Beane can justify not moving McCoy at the deadline and paying him top dollar next season, very concerning. And Ivory was also a disappointing pick up. Two over the hill backs on bad contracts...at least Shady’s deal is done after next season. I’m hoping the Oline can get fixed next year and two years from now the O will be above average. I predict next season will be another below average season on O just based on all of the holes, tough to fix that many issues, especially when Beane can’t see how bad McCoy is now.

What would Shady’s reaction be if one of his teammates tweeted out something similar about wanting a RB who is worth his salary? Shady isnt worth anything near $9 mil, doesn’t mean his teammates should be pointing it out, in a passive aggressive manner, on social media.

It’s definitely possible to achieve those numbers with the additional money the Bills will have available. It is up to Beane to put together this roster. Beane did the easy part, eating a ton of dead money and putting a subpar roster out there last season, now Beane has to follow that up with building a good roster using the cap space and draft picks we have. 2019 is the time to show this regime is headed in the right direction. Barring some bad injuries, 9 wins is the benchmark that should be in place for Beane and McD to get to year 4.

If it’s cool to be honest about our OL, it should be cool to be honest about our running backs. Shady is past his prime and the most overpaid RB in the NFL.
