    Booked a couple rooms for two nights in Cleveland, the Hilton that is a 5 min walk to FirstEnergy Stadium, was told it’s selling quick.

    I’m cautiously optimistic as well, which, like yourself, is a stretch for me. Just show me the GD baby already. Both the draft and free agency added some nice pieces, but this team will only go as far as Allen will take them. And Allen is still a huge question mark in my eyes.

    Seems like a really good kid, probably what sold McBeane on him, but I am far from sold on this pick. The tape shows pretty good elusiveness, which is encouraging but mostly I just kept thinking about how small DS is and how bad the competition was he was playing against. 3rd round pick for this guy? I just don't see it.

    I’ve said it before and I’ll say it here, I like WGR: tons of Bills content, it’s free, and all I have to do is push the on button. A lot of posters on here seem to only want an echo chamber, which is fine, but I prefer critical thinking and challenging ideas, especially my own. The afternoon show has a lot of good interviews as well.

    I really didn’t understand the Singletary, especially with Chase W on the board but I’m encouraged by what I am reading about Singletary. I think our fan base would have been happy regardless of who was picked once we landed Oliver. Beane has a lot of support right got now amongst the fans. Here’s to hoping that we find success with this roster.?

    You raise a good point about skipping the cone drills, I hadn't thought of that. The decision to do the cone drills most likely cost him a good chunk of change.

    Maybe Yahoo Sports can get caught up in the hype but guys that watch thousands of hours of film, like Crabbs and the crew at TDN, had a high grade on DK. I guess we’ll see how it turns out. Personally, I’d much rather have stayed put in round 2 and taken DK than have traded up for Ford.

    Your approach doesn’t seem very processy...I’m going to have to let the McBeane thing play out before going in a new direction.

    Why??? How many backs are on this team? 8??? And with some decent WR talent out there...smh Oh well, good luck young man in standing out in a crowded backfield.

    Ford’s footwork looked like it needs a lot of improvement, I’m hoping he can improve and be a quality starter.

    Let’s go Buffalo! I’m hoping for Metcalf but think there is no way he drops another 8 spots.

    Only other point I’d add as to why we are all in such agreement would be that we addressed many of the holes in FA in other areas (wr, ol, te) but hadn’t added a replacement for #95.

    I think Wilkins will be our guy. He’s at the bottom of my list with Gary of guys who are in the range the Bills are in, but I wanted the other Josh, so wtf do I know?

    Unfortunately, I’m boarding a 4 hour flight and will miss the draft. But I’m hoping WGR is doing some post 1st round talk for the drive from the airport to home. Go Bills! (Please get Oliver!)

    Not a major victory, but progress. I feel like this regime is competent, which is sadly the best we’ve had in a long time. But I’m holding out hope that McBeane are good. This season will provide a lot of evidence, one way or the other. A step forward after decimating the roster to clean house would be a welcome sign.

    I would take a 9-7 playoff season in a heartbeat. For 9-7 to happen, Allen would have to play well and it would really feel like we are going somewhere. I want to believe but I need to be shown at this point, I’m scarred.

    Once I became “established”, schedule release day took on a whole new importance. Picking games and/or cities to visit is a great time. I’m hoping Cleveland is a weekend game. I just went there this weekend for the Jays game, and I’d like to go for the Bills game but don’t want to take time off to do so. Pittsburgh is another option I guess.

    Dream scenario is QW drops to 9, highly unlikely, so I went with Oliver. I still see a few mocks with us taking Metcalf, and I'm not crazy about that but would understand it as we still don't have a #1 WR.
