  1. Damn! I was going to make the drive and be at work the next day. Hope it stays put! I have no vacation time left.
  2. Thank you! Cheers everyone. See you at Hammers in 10 days. I’ll bring the venison pepperettes!
  3. Please Turkey Gawd....give us a stop. I will never hunt turkey again (in the fall).
  4. We were up 13-7 at half the last Super Bowl against Dallas.... but this time, DALLAS IS GOING DOWN, GARY!
  5. Dumb play. This is exactly the start the Bills can’t have.
  6. Happy Thanksgiving to all the US members. Go Bills! (win or lose, just play hungry and represent yourselves)
  7. Dallas is going down, Gary!!!! AAAAHHHH!!!! AAAAHHHH!!!
  8. I'll record it from the safety of my seat.
  9. Been to a lot of games, this one has been one of the most special. Hammer’s lot with the TBD crew and a huge win, awesome. 8-3, I was a teenager last time they had this record. 2 more wins, boys!
  10. This was a very encouraging game. I have felt that there wasn’t enough progress this year compared to the last stretch of 2018, seemed like a plateau had been reached overall. I know some will call out this game bring against the lowly fins but I don’t think it’s fair to make such a point. This was the type of game I’ve been hoping to see. Let’s hope the O can build off this.
  11. My biggest hope is Rudolph looks like crap. We don’t need more “see, Allen sucks” talk all weekend.
  12. This is not a good team, not even close. 6-3 is a product of an easy schedule. The offensive and special teams units are awful, will most likely both be ranked in bottom 5 DVOA in the league after this game.
  13. That was pathetic...I’m pretty pissed. Obviously, the team can still get a playoff birth but I wouldn’t bet on it. I’m officially out on Josh Allen and Daboll, neither are the answer. So we are just spinning our wheels for a few more years until we give up on Allen, so depressing.
  14. Well this has turned into quite the game. If the Bills don't pull this one out we will be reliving the 2008 season.
  15. I expected this, the Bills are a team that’s improving but not consistently good. Still got an easy schedule and a great chance at 10 wins.
  16. Canada is heating up at twice the rate of the rest of the world. Sure, our climate protects us from the most severe consequences but we are dealing with effects nonetheless (forest fires, extreme heat waves, etc.). No, Canada won't have an impact on global emissions by simply meeting our targets, we are obviously too insignificant of a contributor, but that isn't an excuse to do nothing. I don't know what you're on about in your conspiracy theory train of thought, but carbon pricing is our best path to innovation, whether those breakthroughs come in alternatives (nuclear, solar, etc) or efficiencies in extraction of oil. There was plenty, you just had to seek it out.
  17. I’m just visiting as Canadian politics is interesting for a few hours.
  18. I don’t see the popular vote as irrelevant. 2/3 of the country voted for a progressive party, for parties that had an actual climate plan. The Con vote total is impressive, best they have ever done I think. But even with the progressive parties split it wasn’t enough to overcome a seat driven democracy.
  19. Another perspective is that urban areas voted progressively, while rural areas voted conservatively. And that tweet provides no reference to the claims. Seems like pure speculation on the numbers. The link just discusses immigrant population, and nothing about last night’s vote.
  20. I think the poor showing is because Trudeau has shown himself to be a fool. Scheer couldn’t take advantage because he failed to deliver a plan on the biggest issue, climate change. NB Premier Higgs just announced he is going to drop the fight against carbon pricing and fall in line after the election showed a majority support action.
