  1. These ***** idiots have no clue what they’re doing…and the lemmings keep posting Fox News graphics to defend them. Today the trade secretary said Canada and Mexico were getting the 10% baseline tariff…they an hour later the WH said it wasn’t sure, another hour later they weren’t getting it. And these idiots are going to go toe-to-toe with China? A powerful, smart and ruthless country…good ***** luck.
  2. Everyday the bar gets lower. Like, Loomer has a seat at the table? She handcuffed herself to an office building when her Twitter account was deactivated. WTF is wrong with these people?
  3. Yooo…why my fat ass gotta catch a stray? I stayed in school…sheesh
  4. Off the top of my head: -engage stakeholders (allies, companies, workers) - provide a coherent plan with CPIs that are measurable, timelines - communication These are simple project management principles, that aren’t being implemented…and this project is an attempt to reset global trade. What we saw was a joke, and that’s an objective view.
  5. MAGA is really taking a victory lap after that clown show? A rambling moron touting a hastily thrown together plan, using back-of-the-napkin math (that makes zero sense) that is intended to reset the global trade market and geopolitical relationships. A plan that, if executed thoroughly, would be a massive gamble. All while reneging on deals that the clown himself entered, but demanding faith in himself and his band of liars. What a ***** joke these people are.
  6. Concussion history is a scary factor, but not a lot of choice in locking up one of the better players you have.
  7. Threaten to annex your ally using economic force. Institute tariffs by illegally claiming a National Emergency caused by fentanyl which your own data shows is untrue, thereby following through with the economic force threat. All while your ally has been abiding by a free trade agreement that you took credit for creating. Now further threatening an ally because they are forced to accept that they can no longer do business with you because of your tariffs. https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/article/trump-says-larger-tariffs-could-be-imposed-on-canada-eu-if-they-cause-us-economic-harm/ This is completely unhinged behaviour, and MAGAts just lap it up. The kicker, Trump pushed for removal of sanctions on Russian potash…so he’s openly helping Putin. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/us-russia-fertilizer-disturbing Wake the ***** up people.
  8. Another embarrassing self-own. The author, Bell, who is the President of the Steel Manufacturers Association, isn’t too bright of a guy (infer what you will about those celebrating his thoughts). Bell cites OECD projections regarding global oversupply of steel, which makes sense because the OECD is a smart and reputable organization. The funny part is that the OECD also projects Trump’s tariffs will hurt the US. ”In the case of a generalised trade shock, not only will U.S. households pay a high direct price, but the likely economic slowdown will cost the United States more than the extra income the tariffs are supposed to generate, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development estimated in its interim outlook.” Like, if your goal is to write an opinion piece about how great the tariffs are for your industry, you should probably refrain from citing a renowned organization that projects the tariffs to be horrible for the country overall. The same would apply for posting the opinion piece as “real news” in your attempt to justify how great the tariffs are. Just comical stuff…. https://www.reuters.com/markets/trump-trade-war-sap-canadian-mexican-us-growth-oecd-says-2025-03-17/
  9. I think the boycott of the US will last well past the fall.
  10. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/cross-border-trips-decline-235k-february-1.7485695 Border towns/cities will feel a lot of financial pain from Canadians boycotting the US. My family travelled to Buffalo at least twice a month but haven’t been over the border since the tariffs and won’t go back. It appears there are many like-minded Canucks.
  11. I know the Ministry of Truth is hard at work rewriting history, but more than half the troops who stormed the beaches of Normandy were from the Commonwealth. She is such a despicable troll.
  12. OECD report predicting Trump’s tariffs will slow economic growth in North America and cause inflation to rise. https://financialpost.com/news/economy/canada-growth-rate-undershoot-worlds-oecd I wonder how long the MAGA lemmings can hold the “this is great for ‘Merica” line.
  13. It may surprise you, but some people in this world still have principles. I am one of them…it seems Hoetch is too.
  14. Watching the Ogunjobi presser and he’s obviously a liar. You can’t remember the exact timeline of when you got notified about popping and agreeing to a $10 million dollar deal? BS Already can’t stand this guy.
  15. Tariffs are a bandaid solution for restoring US manufacturing, one that will most likely fail because the plan is half-baked. First off, you think American youth are interested in working 50-60 hour weeks in physically demanding jobs? And driving up the cost of goods won’t pair well with the new jobs…work harder for less, sounds great. And in the 1970’s CEO pay was 30 times the average worker, it’s now 325 times the compensation the average worker gets. So all of a sudden CEOs are going to stop cutting costs and lining their pockets? CEOs are going to fund innovation, instead of their 4th home? Sure… Capitalism and greed, two American staples, killed the middle class, and no amount of tariffs will bring decent wages back.
  16. I’m sure it is going on, but at the other guys doing it aren’t dumb enough to hurt their teams…and Beane signing guys who were just caught? WTF? They are gonna suck when clean.
  17. Is 100% of the NFL getting suspended for PEDs? News to me.
  18. Oh, and Beane saying they both need to figure out their supplements, like these were accidents?! Tough look for a guy who should be gone anyways.
  19. Why would you sign two guys based on their performances while juiced up? What a disaster Beane is… The guys off the sauce will probably suck, lol.
  20. I can’t speak to what questions were asked during the inflation crisis, but I’m sure you know exactly what was and wasn’t asked, lol. But to “what about Biden” this moment is ridiculous. The inflation crisis was caused by supply chain issues, that’s been established and accepted by people who deal in reality. This tariff crisis is completely Trump-inflicted, so the questions I posed should 100% be asked and answered. The fact that you, a Trump cultist, think it’s acceptable for Trump to cause a financial disaster, with unsound economic reasoning, and not provide a detailed plan or exit strategy is sad. Give yourself a round of applause, you are such a great lemming.
  21. A masterclass, lol? A series of follow-up questions from an actual journalist would be, “how long will this plan take?, how much fiscal pain will the average American have to deal with?, will there be financial support for those suffering financially?, which economists support this plan, which don’t?, have the impacts on relationships with longstanding allies been considered?” But sure, a masterclass economic mind at work.
  22. The newspaper explicitly mentions lack of readership, lol, and other long term issues. The reason we’re discussing this is that the paper also mentions that increasing costs due to tariffs as being a cause of their closure. But we’ve got ***** gaslighting clickbait outlets like Twitchy saying the paper didn’t mention tariffs at all…and an ignorant target audience who lap up the misinformation because they can’t rub two brain cells together. The gaslighters would be better served to point out that Schumer’s tweet was oversimplifying the issue and insinuating that tariffs were the main cause of their closure, which is obviously untrue. But that approach would require honesty and admission that tariffs are hurting Americans, which is not acceptable…they only want decisive wins…no losses, truth be damned.
  23. You get fooled by the propaganda you indulge in, and then call others nitwits. Just the most pathetic people, and so easy to fool. BTW, the publisher is responsible for all content of a paper. So when they decided to cite tariffs as one of the final straws that forced them to fold (in the lead story, lol), they probably didn’t feel the need to repeat themselves.
  24. Trump’s economic policy this term is to implement tariffs as a way to pay for his massive tax cuts for the wealthy. If enough damage is inflicted on Canada, the opportunity to annex us is just gravy. In theory it’s possible the clumsy implementation won’t matter and the plan will benefit the US over time. But if the plan fails, the US will have burned every bridge and their economy will take years to recover. Here’s a good article basically saying the plan isn’t supported by many economists, and that Trump’s first foray into tariffs during his first term were a failure. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c20myx1erl6o.amp Maybe this time it’ll work, maybe not.
