He's running McDermott's scheme, not sure why Sean just doesn't hire a DC that he knows through the ranks somewhere, is it ego driven or does he really think this scheme works? After his brother passed away he just didn't seem to care about football any longer which is understandable, I remember an interview or reading somewhere where he said he was playing mostly in spirit most of the time which i always found to be really sad because they say football would take your mind off of those things even for those 3 hours and it still wasn't giving him any relief.

You say lack of downfield passing and I say non existent as in they don't have it at all and have yet to see it. What happens when defenses take away the short game? Because by the time playoffs come around that's what the top elite teams will try and do. It has to be incorporated even a little bit and I think Moore would be the perfect guy for it running a 4.35 at his pro day.

They act as if we have Jared Goff as a QB, we could go up 21 points and make teams 1 dimensional but we have a bunch of conservative coaches and it's quite frustrating. We won a miracle game week 1 , we faced Fields in week 2 and it took a roughing the kicker call to turn this game around for us. So far I've been underwhelmed with coaching on both sides of the ball and if we play like this in the playoffs we won't make it to yet another SB.
