Happy Thanksgiving all! I'm seeing a trend with this defense as we continue to not cover the best player on offense for the past 3 games now and continues today.

Man if we can ever use Hines in the pass game as the Chargers do Ekeler we'd be golden.

If Diggs wasn't upset at how the offense was going, I'd be more concerned. As a competitor who wants to win every game, it looked like it was eating at Diggs and McDermott did the right thing calming the situation down, kudos to the both of them.

I've said this before, there is no way to make up for these types of losses, yes it's next man up but the next man up is not going to be anywhere near as good as Edmunds, Hyde, White, Groot, Elam and now Epenesa. My biggest problem with this defense is adjustments, they absolutely refuse to stray from the game plan and it's killing us. Jefferson had a career game against us and instead of learning from our mistakes and double teaming WR Amari Cooper, he once again destroyed us. Why wouldn't we have Poyer and Cook on him all game and stack the LOS against the run? It made zero sense.

Only the Bills would put Gabe Davis out on the hands team for the onside kick.

crazy that McKenzie doesn't even have a catch. I think Allen really misses that security blanket slot WR that Beasley was.

Ed Oliver, Jordan Poyer, Matt Milano, Groot hurt towards the 2nd quarter there, That is alot to overcome for any team, yes it should be next man up but the next man up is not as good as our top players unfortunately.

Agree to disagree on Davis, I feel he's doing a fine job, already tied Sanders whole season in TD with 4 last year, less than 200 yards away from surpassing Sanders in yards and is averaging a awesome 25.1 yards per catch so I'm not sure what more you want from the guy, it's only year 1 as a full time starter. I agree with [partial blame on Dorsey and Knox but Knox is definitely going through some things most likely due to his brother passing away. I figure though Knox will pick it up at some point and I really hope Dorsey utilizes Hines also.

Gabe Davis is a better option than Emmanuel Sanders IMO, I agree that Beasley was Allen's safety blanket but that should now go to Dawson Know and hopefully this is a reason we signed RB Nyheim Hines. All 3 of our RB's can catch and we are seriously underutilizing them, I think Hines can be every bit as effective as Austin Ekeler in SD (In the passing game) since he's lethal in the open field. Knox, Hines need to step up in the passing game.

I totally agree and now we have Singletary, Cook and Hines who can all catch out of the backfield but the speed of Hines has to make our OC salivate a little bit. I don't feel like this was a trust issue with Cook as he seemed to be getting the ball more and making the most of his touches imo.
