  1. I fully expect the Bengals to be real competition in the playoffs with us each year, they have a lethal offense to go with a very underrated defense imo.
  2. There is talent all over this defense and now adding the future hall of famer Von Miller only makes it that much more lethal imo. If Tre White comes back to form with Elam, Taron Johnson, Hyde and Poyer? That looks like a solid secondary. The big thing for me will be Groots progression from his rookie season, if he can be an 8-10 sack player then watch out, a stellar pass rush with this secondary will be a nightmare for every team.
  3. I didn't like it I loved it! I've been a fan since 1986. Real fan, I enjoyed every second of it, Brandt pointing with the chickenwing and to top it off the Rick Flair wooooo at the end? I'm wondering how you couldn't enjoy that?
  4. I remember thinking I should quit liking this franchise because we didn't draft..... Wait for it!!!.................................................>>>>>>>> QB Blaine Gabbert. I'm sorry all, it was the low point of my fandom, I was vulnerable!!!
  5. Hello fellow Bills fans.... I live in the suburbs of Buffalo, I've been a Bills fan since I was 8 years old. My favorite/sad Bills memory was watching our first ever SB against the new York Giants thinking we had that in the bag, it was thrilling right down to the wide right, me and my father were both breathing into brown paper bags (no lie) to prevent hyper ventilating we were that on edge lol.

My favorite Bills player from the SB era was Bruce Smith, I met him at Hills and he signed my football plus gave me and my friend a fun speech that I will remember for quite some time. My favorite current Bills player is Josh Allen but a close second is Tre'Davious White, I always thought White was our 1st true leader to turn this franchise around.

  6. He also had a terrible pro day posting 4.68- 40, 31.5 vertical and I read somewhere else that he didn't interview well either which would most definitely warrant him not getting drafted but I think someone will take a chance. https://www.si.com/college/clemson/tigers-in-the-nfl/former-clemson-wideout-justyn-ross-not-selected-in-nfl-draft
  7. I just read that as I commented , I'm trying to find more info.
  8. Bill Belichick as much as he annoys me is an amazing coach, he took a noddle armed QB as you stated and took them to the playoffs in the rookies 1st season, I'm pretty sure he can do whatever he wants until he feels like calling it quits but that's just my opinion.
  9. My understanding from what I'm reading and hearing is the the spinal condition that will require surgery, what team is going to want to cover this surgery that he may never recover from? The reality is there are other options with much less risk and will cost alot less. Unfortunately that's the harsh reality, he can't keep playing without surgery, it's coming sooner or later.
  10. I definitely feel Cook will be in the mix, I don't think he'll overtake Motor this season but they'll share carries and I feel Cook will be a big part of passing downs for us. Shakir has more of an uphill battle since we have Diggs, Davis, McKenzie and Crowder almost as locks imo, those thinking Shakir is going to outwork Crowder must have never seen Crowder play, he's an excellent slot WR who has been working with less QB's, I can't imagine how well he's going to do with Allen at the helm and I'm really looking forward to that. Culture is huge, I haven't played football at a professional level but I have at the collegiate level and you can feel the difference when you're on a team that's team oriented and one that's not, I've been on both.
  11. They have been a running team since Lamar was drafted, they had I believe 3 or 4 RB's on the roster go down with season ending injuries and all of them return in 2022. They made some upgrades along the OL and Lamar comes back from injury. Also I never thought Hollywood Brown was their #1 WR, that has always been TE Mark Andrews imo plus I believe they'll sign a WR in this coming free agency.
  12. The Patriots have clearly gotten worse, they lost all pro G Shaq mason in a very questionable trade. All Pro CB Tretter also left to the Chargers and they haven't given Mac Jones a legit #1 WR, Devonte Parker has been a disappointment for the most part. The Dolphins have really upgraded the roster but I just don't see Tua as a top flight QB in this league but if he proves that wrong then they should be contending with us but I don't see them winning the division, that will still be ours. The NYJ are starting to get incredibly talented as I thought they had the best draft of any team this year and if Zack Wilson takes the next step this year then I'll go out on a limb and say the NYJ and Bills will be the 2 teams battling for that spot each year as soon as next season. They are putting together a solid WR core with Corey Davis, Denzel Mims, Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore and Braxton Berrios plus add Uzumah at TE. The OL was upgraded with Becton, Tomlinson, McGovern and vera-Tucker. That run game should be as good as any other if the 2 backs pan out as I liked Michael Carter that they selected last season and now add in Breece Hall and that could give defenses headaches real soon. The defense needs to improve more but the additions of Jermaine Johnson and Sauce Gardner were excellent which again is why I think this team will be competing with us for sure but that's only if Wilson turns into a franchise QB which didn't appear to be the case in year 1.
  13. I'm definitely a Shakir fan also but it's the obvious choice for me, CB Kaiir Elam, this kid seems hungry, already wanted the playbook on the plane and will most likely soak everything the secondary is offering him as far as getting up to speed. I saw what they did with 7th round pick Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson, I can't even imagine what this kid will be in a year or 2 but I'm excited to see.
  14. I gave it an A. We came into this draft imo needing to land a CB to either aide in the loss of Tre White for a couple games and play alongside of him. I really like his bloodlines as both his uncle and father played in the NFL. He has really solid overall skills with him mostly needing to work on his tackling. I also thought we needed to add more speed/depth at WR & RB and we did that taking another guy with really good current NFL bloodlines, Dalvin Cooks younger brother James Cook in the 2nd round. He immediately will compete with motor for the gig and this might make Singletary really bring out the skills we've seen from him in college and the last half of last season. Cook ran a 4.42 at the NFL combine, his pass catching is what will really bring another element to our offense because if he finds the open space we're going to get those chunk yards or long TD runs we've been waiting for. WR Khalil Shakir ran a 4.43 at the combine plus adds depth just like the James Cook pick, I didn't really think we were interested in him because I couldn't find anywhere that we interviewed or talked with him at the combine or facetime but regardless I was very happy with the pick, his hands are some of the best in this draft class, some draft pundits have said a good NFL comparison is Cooper Kupp but I'm not really a fan of comparisons as I believe these guys have a long way to go before they reach a player of Kupp's caliber. We added depth along the OL, LB and either gave Matt Hauck his walking papers or he's going to just kill it in training camp, either way we're going to have a serious kicking game when it's all said and done.
  15. You have to love this comment by Matt Araiza! Someone get me a table!!!
  16. I'm extremely happy with this draft class, I think we got better, faster and filled our roster with much needed depth. That being said I wanted them to draft CB Trent McDuffie- CB Washington, I thought he was a perfect fit for our scheme on defense. Also I was hoping WR Calvin Austin- Memphis would slip just a little further to us but it didn't happen, the Steelers snatched him up. I really like CB Kaiir Elam and WR Khalil Shakir, I think both will fill a significant roll, Shakir in the not so distant future, Elam right away.
  17. The Ravens... They didn't make the playoffs because Lamar got injured but he's healthy again, they get all their injured players back, also added Kyle Hamilton, Tyler Lindenbaum, David Ojabo, Charlie Kolar, Jordan Stout and Isiah Likely in the draft
  18. Crowder will be a big part of this offense imo, he's done well with nowhere near the caliber of QB as Josh Allen so far, I feel if he stays healthy he should have similar stats to Beasley or exceed him. I was really high on him in FA, his knock is that he does have an injury bug the past few seasons as he's never the biggest guy on the field.
  19. I hear you on Daboll not being creative, I don't think we ever utilized RB screen passes, hardly ran any bubble screens to WR... I'd like to see McKenzie, Singletary utilized more in this offense.
  20. I enjoyed the read.... I would have also added Steelers as a draft class I liked also, just my 2 pennies! I thought the biggest need coming into this draft class was CB2, my favorite player was Trent McDuffie and I can't help to wonder if he was there if he'd have been our pick but we'll never know that. I'm more than happy with the Elam pick, I saw what this regime did with 7th rounder Levi Wallace/Dane Jackson so I can only imagine what we do with this 6'1" freak of nature at corner plus we added some much needed depth in the 6th round with Christian Benford. I thought we also needed some depth or speed at IOL, WR, RB and LB. We didn't get much at IOL but I really liked WR Khalil Shakir, RB James Cook could be a real steal for us with his great bloodlines, his 4.43 speed, catching out of the backfield will be where I think he'll be the most dangerous and I'm looking forward to see what the running game will look like this season. I like the depth we got at LB also, this wasn't the flashiest draft but we filled some much needed holes (that's what she said!?).
  21. Gabriel Davis, Taron Johnson were 4th rounders but still, mid to late picks haven't been horrible at all for us and I still think late round pick WR Isiah Hoggins will find a place on our roster possibly this year.
  22. I personally hope they stay put and keep those 6th rounders, this staff has found numerous late round steals - Levi Wallace, Taron Johnson, Dane Jackson, Matt Milano, Gabriel Dais come to mind. I know Davis and Johnson were 4th round picks but still I mean mid to late round pick.
  23. The question was for people who know the draft pick chart , will 6th rounders equal a 4th round pick. I was answering that posters question, I wasn't saying a team would accept that.
